Your Customer, Your Sale
We use your customer details for one
purpose only: to fulfil your orders.
When a customer places an order with you,
you take all responsibility for dealing with that
customer, including providing invoices, post-
sales product support, correctly addressing
and specifying the order on our system, and
accepting returns from customers taking up
their Distance Selling rights. We merely
dispatch in plain packaging (save for the
customers address and Royal Mail indicia).
Inside the packaging will be the goods
ordered plus a packing slip which contains all
your contact details and a greeting message
from you, as if it were you dispatching the
order, illustrated above with example seller.
Postage & Fees to the UK & EU
You pay for the goods ordered, at
trade price, plus a single fulfilment
fee per consignment based on the
weight of the goods and the
packaging. Included in the
fulfilment fee is:

Carriers
To offer best service to your customers, we use a combination of Royal Mail & dpd, very occasionally others. We reserve the right to decide
the most appropriate carrier to use for any given consignment.
Service Standard
We process orders every weekday except public holidays. Orders submitted to us before 12:00 noon will be dispatched same day. Date of
dispatch for every order is provided via LAOMS. This date refers to the consignment having been picked, packed and bagged. We have
Royal Mail collections every working weekday. No-Quibble Service Guarantee: Where Lindens makes a rare error (for example a mispick)
we will correct our error soon as we are made aware of it, at no cost to the seller.
Delivery Standard
Under FULFILMENT BY LINDENS, on standard deliveries we guarantee only to dispatch orders within the specified time-scale. We
normally expect 98%+ of dispatched items to be delivered. This is a high rate in any e-commerce arena, made possible by our use of flat
product packaging which is generally letterbox friendly, and our choice of reliable carriers.
Occasionally consignments may take longer to deliver than the standard quoted by the carrier – this is outside our control or items will get
lost and you may wish to send replacements for lost items – this will be achieved by submitting a new order in LAOMS and will be invoiced
as if it were a new order. All consignments are shipped with your address details on an enclosed packing slip. Undelivered consignments
may be opened by the carrier and returned to you. We provide no compensation for consignments “lost in post” on any tarriff.
*You should build in 2% to your costs for orders lost in post. Generally these are mis-delivered by the postman (for example in the wrong
pigeon-hole in multiple occupancy buildings) and then claimed by the lucky recipient, or simply received by the wrong person in a
household If you experience a higher non-delivery rate than 2%, you are probably suffering theft by customer. The best online sellers have
strategies in place to reduce theft by customer rates.

Invoicing
We invoice weekly, in arrears. The invoicing week is midnight Saturday to midnight Saturday and you will only be invoiced for dispatched
orders and, except for credits, will match your activity on LAOMS. Invoices are generated by email each Sunday morning. Invoices are due
immediately and will be collected by direct debit. All our goods and fulfilment fees are subject to VAT at 20%.

With roots in health food retail our Company has been engaged in
online selling and fulfilment of health supplements since 2007, and
regularly processes around 4000 consignments/12000 product units
weekly. We remain a small business with a flexible, personal
approach to our customers. Big enough to deliver, small enough to
care.
Product Legality
All our products are classified as food supplements (ie. as foods)
within the United Kingdom and there are no restrictions within the UK
in their distribution when correctly packaged and labelled. Sellers
exporting goods or trading on overseas storefront/auction sites are
responsible for complying with any local legislation or regulation
governing the local trading in or exporting of the goods into the
country of destination and for ensuring that any applicable duties are
paid.
Sellers may be aware of the Traditional Herbal Medicines scheme. As
of May 2014 none of the products we distribute are covered by this
scheme; we specialise in botanical food supplements and the
botanical products we distribute are classified as such. Ours is a
dynamic sector, subject to fast-changing regulation. As a result, our
product range will change from time to time. Lindens issues a periodic
Product Bulletin which informs sellers about range changes, whether
market-led or forced by regulatory changes.
LAOMS
LAOMS, Lindens Administration & Order
Management System, is an easy to use
web browser based ordering system. You
simply add your customer's order to the
system and, once submitted, you can be
assured it will be dispatched as soon as
possible. If you choose to use
FULFILMENT BY LINDENS you will be
provided with a login name, password,
and a 15 minute training session (it's very
simple to use). LAOMS provides you with
a simple cut and paste interface for
adding delivery address and a “check
cost” facility which you can use before you
submit an order – see below, and
example order submitted by seller,
Healthy Everything:
LAOMS will calculate the exact cost to you. Fulfilment costs are based on consignment
weight – the weight of the products plus 20g for consignment packaging. LAOMS provides
you with real-time status information for your submitted orders – have they been dispatched
yet, and on what date. See below:
LAOMS also provides you with basic management information – how many sold and at what
cost for any given date range. This same information is used to generate your invoices.
