Joshua Preston 2324C Little Valley Rd Hoover, AL 35216 [email protected] 11/1/2013 Dear sir or madam: I was Lindsay Crawford’s direct manager for the last year, during which time I was able to coach and develop her in many aspects of my company. I am writing to acknowledge her abilities and employability. I first got to know Lindsay during her interview process and immediately saw her potential as a driven and hard working individual. She was hired and immediately began to prove those assumptions to be true. She received her first promotion within her first month of employment and quickly began to position herself as a leader in my company. She became a top trainer and recruiter at the firm as well as setting the pace in sales for the office. After six months of field time we decided to move her to the most important role in the company: Administrator. Her duties included ad placement, qualifying new resumes and making phone calls to set up initial interviews with potential new sales reps, answering the phone and greeting interviews and new employees in the lobby with a pleasant demeanor. She was very well received by everyone in the company and was given multiple compliments by those whom she had scheduled interviews. Many comments were made that Lindsay’s friendly nature was the primary reason for accepting an interview. All of this was largely due to her genuine care and concern for others. Overall, she was a pleasure to have in the office and a joy to coach. Her work ethic is truly impressive. I would highly recommend Lindsay for the position for which she is being considered. Lindsay has proven herself to be a very competent and willing worker and her loyalty and dedication was shown through her work and self sacrifice.
