Thank you for purchasing our Liner Horn library for Kontakt. We hope you will enjoy our

library.

Liner horn is an industrial wind instrument with a brutal, unstable and roaring sound.

During the composition, there are situations when it is necessary to create a dramaturgic

accent, for example, in the piece culmination. Usually, for this purpose the composers use

variety of loud instruments such as percussion or brass. However, sometimes required

something more than just a traditional orchestra. In this case, one can try the sound of the

powerful industrial air horns.

Liner horn - it is your "bazooka in your pocket", with which you get ultra-powerful wind bass

in your Kontakt-orchestra. Just load it, set timbre with four mic positions, and you are ready

to create the most epic track in history! In addition, you can use various built-in FX, or turn on

the gate and get a textured rhythmic pattern.

o 4 mic positions: Upper, Bottom, Mid, Side.

o 2 octaves: from C0 to B1 (over 100 recorded samples).

REQUIREMENTS

o NI Kontakt 4.2.3 or later (full retail).

o 110 Mb of disk space

INSTALLATION

1. Put the “Liner Horn” folder somewhere safe on your system;

2. In Kontakt, open the Browser on the left (the folder Icon at the top);

3. Locate “Liner Horn” folder and press twice on “Liner Horn.nki”;

4. You’re done!

Please note, that this library do not use "Add Library" function, so you may add Liner Horn

to Quick load menu for simply access to them.

Note that you can hover your mouse over any control in Liner Horn to get Info about

its function if you have the Kontakt Info panel activated.

This LED button switch are on/off limiter. Use this for add to the sound power and attack.

Reverb button. Enables/disables convolution reverb.

This section controls built-in convolution reverb.

Dry knob controls a reverb dry signal level.

Wet knob controls a reverb wet signal level.

Length knob controls a time of reverb decay.

Here you can customize the microphones positions. “UPP.” slider controls volume of the upper close microphone. Upper

position has a bright, cutting sound. “BOTT.” slider controls volume of the bottom close microphone. This position has a powerful, bass sound.

“MID” slider controls volume of the middle distant microphone (cardioid pattern mic).

“SIDE” slider controls volume of the side distant microphone (figure-8 pattern mic). The side position is decoded for hear a proper stereo image.

Use mid and side position for control width and depth of the scene.

The steering wheel controls stereo pan of upper, bottom and mid

samples.

Controls the Cutoff of the Low Pass filter. In addition, you can

control cutoff with mod wheel.

“Connect to side” button switch on connection between “Cutoff” knob and the side mic slider. This can make interesting effect (especially together with the damage effect).

This knob controls the resonance of LP filter.

Gate knob. Controls the length of the gate effect. While it set on max, gate is a turn off.

This knob controls the speed of the gate.

Damage button. Activates the “Damage” effect, based on the

distortion and twang processing. This effect produce aggressive, electronic sound.

for the product accompanying this License Agreement, which includes computer software

and may include associated media ("Product"). By installing, copying, or using the product,

you agree to be bound by the terms of this License Agreement. If you do not agree to the

terms of this License Agreement, you may not use the product.

The product is protected by copyright laws and international copyright treaties, as well as

other intellectual property laws and treaties.

You can use this product in your music productions and live performances.
