• They are calling you to find out if your last job is now free….they want to get paid by your former employer…you are the pawn

• They don’t really care so get your story straight and USE THEM.• “Are you going to other interviews” – that is a way of them finding out where

else there are jobs• “What are you expecting to earn” – that can also be a way of them knowing

how to pitch to your FORMER employer to offer new staff!• “What are you looking to do” – a good way for them to find out what THEY

should be looking for when pitching back to your company, or companies you are applying for!!!

• Add you on LinkedIn – Inmails and recruiters may add you to get to one of your contacts (degrees of connection) AND to see you job updates….you leave a post….they know there is now a vacant post left behind.
