systems. The new user interface design developed

specifically for digital printing makes for easy configu-

more, the WYSIWYG user interface of the Prinect

Analyze PointLive job preview

As a result, print shops can switch flexibly between

offset and digital production depending on the job in

hand, produce print products using a combination

of the two methods or, for example, use the most cost-

effective printing process for advance runs, main

production runs, or reprints. Color-consistent hybrid

production with standardized color management for

offset and digital printing is possible.

Prinect integration. The Prinect Digital Print Manager

can be installed as a standalone workflow application

or directly integrated into an existing Prinect workflow.

growing demands in terms of product quality. Their

customers are looking for highly flexible production,

very short runs. That makes it all the more important

to be able to rely on a system that meets all these re-

quirements on demand, that is to say virtually at the

touch of a button. With its outstanding image quality

and exceptional range of functions, the Linoprint C 751

digital printing system from Heidelberg offers the best

productivity and quality in its class. It delivers greater

cost-efficiency for short runs and publications with

variable data.

Outstanding quality dot by dot. The innovative VCSEL

(Vertical Cavity Surface-Emitting Laser) technology

of the Linoprint C 751 delivers razor sharp images

thanks to an imaging system boasting a resolution of

up to 4,800 dpi. The combination of PxP™ toner and

oilless fusing technology produces near-offset image

quality. The toner benefits from ultra-fine particles

with a low melting point for extremely uniform quality.

Scope for greater flexibility. The PxP™ toner extends

the range of materials that can be printed. In con-

junction with the improved fuser unit, it supports an

impressively wide range of media and achieves ex-

cellent productivity with paper weights up to 300 gsm.

High productivity. The Linoprint C 751 can deliver an

impressive maximum monthly volume of 350,000 A4

pages, operating at a speed of 65 or 75 color/mono

pages per minute. This throughput can be achieved

with paper up to 256 gsm in perfecting mode and up

to 300 gsm in straight printing mode.

Maximum machine availability. Improved ORUs

(Operator Replaceable Units) that users can replace

themselves without any assistance from service

engineers minimize downtime.

Toner bottles and paper cassettes can also be changed

or refilled on the fly. By increasing both utilization

and productivity, this capability secures the availability

of your investment.

Consistency from the first page to the last. Active

toner density control precisely monitors the amount of

toner being used. This means that the developer unit

is always supplied with exactly the right amount of

toner for color uniformity across the sheet, from the

first print to the last.

Absolute precision. Exceptionally precise front and

back registration is essential for products such as

business cards, postcards, and publications. Thanks

to the combination of mechanical registration and

VCSEL technology, it is easy to produce these products

on the Linoprint C 751. The machine minimizes skew-

ing or distortion of the paper, thereby ensuring precise

image positioning and accurate registration on both

sides.

Effective cooling. The Linoprint C 751 is the first cut-

sheet digital printing system to use a liquid cooling

system. Maintaining an optimum temperature paves

the way for uninterrupted, ultra-efficient printing.

Long lifespan. The OPC (Organic Photo Conductor)

image drum of the Linoprint C 751 has an enhanced

overcoat layer to make it more durable. The OPC’s

high sensitivity delivers stable color results during

continuous print runs. The intelligent OPC drive con-

trol system provides continuous feedback to adjust

the drum rotation speed and minimize color fluctua-

tions. This extends the life of the drum surface and

optimizes color results.

Simple and smooth print job generation. The media

library gives you access to an extensive database. The

comprehensive library includes over 160 certified pre-

set media profiles. What’s more, you can create up to

1,000 of your own media profiles, which are then au-

tomatically available for selection in the workflow.

The color touchscreen’s user interface is easy to oper-

ate and enables fully automatic selection of settings

for different print jobs. As a result, it is easy for any

authorized user to produce complex print jobs by sim-

ply selecting a presetting or a user-defined profile.

Impressive capacity. The SRA3 large-capacity feeder

of the Linoprint C 751 holds a total of 4,000 sheets.

This is particularly useful when producing brochures

with a large number of pages.

The multi-bypass feeder can accommodate the largest

paper formats in its class at 330.2 × 630 millimeters

(13.00 × 24.80 inches).

User-friendly. The machine couldn’t be easier to use.

To ensure an integrated workflow, an LED light indi-

cates which magazine is currently in use. This allows

you to monitor progress while filling one of the other

magazines for the next print job. The status pole indi-

cator enables users to keep an eye on the production

status from some distance.

high productivity in mind. The digital color production

system really delivers in terms of quality and versa-

tility. Its scalability and inline finishing options make

it the ideal solution for any volume. Short makeready

times, innovative paper travel technology, register

accuracy, and accurate coloring set standards when it

comes to cost-efficiency and quality – for impressive

results every time.

Multiply your options. The Linoprint C 901 is suitable

for high-quality advertising materials, personalized

print products, and professionally bound books and

brochures. Inline production is easy to control and

offers automatic hole punching, folding, stitching, and

gluing.

Top productivity. The Linoprint C 901 delivers the

best performance in its class. The multitude of

substrates that can be processed and a speed of

90 A4 pages per minute for printing stock weighing

up to 300 gsm in perfecting mode will impress even

the most demanding customers. The machine sup-

ports paper formats up to 330 × 487.7 millimeters

(12.99 × 19.20 inches) with a maximum weight of

300 gsm and does so without any compromises in

terms of speed. Precise registration makes the

Linoprint C 901 the ideal solution for high-quality

Consistently high quality. The Linoprint C 901 meets

the toughest demands. The PxP™ toner with enhanced

fusing delivers optimum image quality on a wide vari-

ety of substrates. The very small, evenly distributed

toner particles create sharp dots and consistent half-

tone images approaching offset quality.

Optimum fusing. The Linoprint C 901 is also incredibly

flexible when it comes to printing stock. Optimized

fusing in conjunction with an air-assisted paper sepa-

ration unit ensures smooth paper travel, even with

light-weight coated paper. This produces optimum

results and excellent color consistency for coated,

textured, and special materials – even with long print

runs.

Setup made easy. The integrated media library auto-

mates your makeready process in just a few steps.

More than 330 certified media are available and addi-

tional substrates are being added all the time. A fur-

ther 1,000 user-specific settings can be defined.

High availability. The ORUs (Operator Replaceable

Units) help ensure optimum availability of the

Linoprint C 901. These components are easy for users

to replace on site, so you don’t need to wait for a

service engineer. Consumables such as toner cartridg-

es can even be replaced on the fly. This minimizes

downtime and maintenance work and the associated

costs. It also maximizes productivity.

Automatically enhanced productivity from start to

finish. The Linoprint C 901 has everything you need,

with an extensive selection of inline finishing options

that can be combined in a single system. In addition

to the all-in-one saddle stitch finisher for handling

brochures with up to 80 pages and front edge trim-

ming, there is a ring binder that automates the

binding process by collating and ring binding without

any manual intervention and an adhesive binder

that creates professional-looking books consisting of

20 to 400 pages in perfecting mode.

Effective finishing. The large-capacity feeder holds up

to 8,000 sheets with two units configured in tandem

and benefits from automatic switching. The GBC

StreamPunch Pro produces punched and collated

documents that are then bound offline. The two-side

trimming module in conjunction with the booklet maker

enables inline three-side trimming for precise finish-

ing of 25 sheets with a weight of 80 gsm. Designed

for heavy-duty operation, the system can automati-

cally add cover pages, stitch, straighten book spines,

and create a cross-fold. The result: Higher productivity

at lower costs.

Ideally integrated. A number of print servers with

Adobe® PDF Print Engine (APPE) technology are avail-

able for the Linoprint C 901. They ensure consistently

high throughput and support finishing options. Since

all solutions benefit from plug-and-play inte gration,

you can upgrade from one print server to another at

any time if your needs change. Naturally, all servers

integrate seamlessly into Prinect – the print shop

workflow from Heidelberg.
