Dearest Linwood Family,
We want to send a special “THANKS” to all of you who have shared with us in love, and deed,and special gifts throughout this year. There are so many of you with “generous hearts” that keepblessing the Linwood Senior Center, and -- all our Senior Centers for that matter! Many of you donated items, crafts and many of you donated your time and energy with regard to the rummagesale, and we were able to raise some much needed funds! This $ helps us to be able to tune thepiano, and possibly get a microphone for the center, so that when we have speakers, people canhear a little better.
We have some neat upcoming events in November including a Thanksgiving Soup and SideLuncheon. We also have some great programs such as “Healthy Holiday Eating” and

Thanksgiving Celebration
We want to invite you to Linwood’s Soupand Side Thanksgiving Lunch November 9from 12:30am-2:00pm.
Please plan on joining us to have a specialget together to celebrate our blessings. Weask everyone to RSVP at 263-3703 and tobring a crockpot of soup or a side if you cando so. We will have a wonderful feast and thenhave some special music and hymns to celebrate our blessings.

Medicare Part D Enrollment
It’s that time again!!! It is time to reviewyour MEDICARE Part D. If you want to makechanges, please give us a ring. Cherise willhelp you if you need some counseling withregard to changes. You will need to call263-3703 for an appointment before December 7, to get changes made for nextyear.
Computer Class
Basic Computer Training Classes areavailable. Our teacher, Jim Jones, will beteaching the first two Wednesdays in November. Please give us a call to sign upor find out more.
Holiday Outing
We are intending to head to MosleyStreet Melodrama on Sunday, December 11,to go to the production “Holidays of OurLives.” It should be a great time of food, fellowship and fun!
