Magazine/Wall Magazine

Name:SAMVRIDHI-Beyond the halls of IVY released on 28th November 2015

Brief Details: It is the official newsletter of the ABHYAS Club. As the name suggests the

newsletter has grown leaps and bounds. It’s a combined effort of all the students which

consists of articles on-

Samvridhi, Beyond The Halls Of Ivy. Bhavans Vivekananda Degree College’s Management

Department’s online business newsletter was first started on 28th September, 2015 and is

released every quarter.

The quarterly business newsletter provides insight into all the contemporary affairs, views,

opinions and suggestions under one themed compilation of work put forth by the student body

themselves.

Right from its infancy, samvridhi has seen peaks of success every edition. Right from, a small

family of work diversifying into large number, input of talent and coordinating the varied

opinions, it has pulled itself in great esteem.

The March, 2017 edition “AI V/S HI” was an attempt made to understand the dynamics of

artificial intelligence in business field and its crucial impact on human resources. It focused on

the future leap of business world.

The June, 2017 release “Dynamics in Business Environment” aimed at showcasing the crucial

factors that have an implication on businesses and a reply to such happenings.

A revamp of newsletter was smoothly thought off by giving SAMVRIDHI a new design of its

own that had an Indian touch to it. The department magazine was now opened for the entire

college to write their opinions on given themed topics, this was an attempt to make the

newsletter known and accepted by all.

The September, 2017 edition, “Business Revolutionized” focused on the major underlying

revolutions happening in the conduct of business highlighting the contemporary business

models and the urgent need for CSR.

Another important development in samvridhi’s growth has been the usage of social media as a

platform to promote the idea of samvridhi and appeal to all on one combining grounds, a

strong PR team was backed on this.

And January, 2018 edition, “INNSTAIN” infusing innovation and sustainability a complete

thought-provoking name was fashioned to touch the softer aspects of business giving at most

importance to out of the box business ideas, family friendly organizations and the evergoing

debate on EQ V/S IQ. The sustainability of business was hugely looked upon.

A special mention, this particular edition grabbed a lot of out of the college attention hence

featured a column that belonged from outside the college.

The February, 2018 supplementary edition due to release unlike samvridhi’s previous

supplementary editions, has tapped into unknown career horizons taking due care of various

departments and subjects offered to us and BVC and each column dedicated for each student

to take away something informational. Which is soon to be released.

This year has been a huge stepping stone for SAMVRIDHI to learn and grow, with each

edition. And the team has stayed along, working hard as ever from scratch of ever new

quarter edition to provide with the best of ideas, planning, execution and final design of it.

SAMVRIDHI believes to progress higher with all the support and encouragement from

everyone.
