JOB RESPONSIBILITIES OF HARISH KUMAR

QUALITY ASSURANCE:

1. Preparation of Internal Quality Assurance Plan, Technical Specification and

Quality Checkpoints prior to the execution of work.

2. Preparation of inspection formats for coating thickness, surface roughness,

dimensions, visual, etc. according to type of jobs.

3. Preparation of process flow charts for executing every projects and

improving same on changes take place in project executions.

4. Preparation of lab testing requests for sample coupons.

5. Preparation of inspection documents for conducting customer inspection.

6. To maintain ISO 9001 : 2008 manual by updating/ uploading formats of

various departments.

QUALITY CONTROL:

1. Pre-inspection of jobs on its arrival at our premises.

2. Stage inspection of jobs on each important stages i.e. NDT, dimensioning,

checking of visual, coating thickness, surface roughness, etc.

3. To conduct customer inspection of various projects at the units and vendor

places.

4. To prepare inspection call for the customer to visit our place.

5. Preparation of minutes of meeting, joint inspection report, etc. during

customer inspections.

6. To review lab test report of sample coupons received from lab for every

project.

7. To review internal inspection reports (dimension, coating thickness, surface

roughness, visual, etc.) submitted by unit QC.

8. To review internal inspection reports (dimension, coating thickness, surface

roughness, visual, etc.) submitted by sub-ordinate after inspection in units.

9. To follow-up with the quality inspectors while work is being carried-out at

project sites.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT:

1. Design & drafting of components, fixtures, special arrangements of various

projects on AutoCAD software.

2. Preparation of technical query mail to customer regarding any non-

conformity observed on jobs before/ during/ after working on jobs.

3. To review sub-ordinates reports on weekly/ monthly planning & progress.

4. To give clarification of MIS/ KRA to the colleagues.

5. To visit customer site to resolve issues faced during fitment of jobs.

TENDER:

1. Thorough studying of technical part from the tender like drawing, technical

specification, special requirement of the customer.

2. To give technical acceptance of tender/ enquiries after doing feasibility

study in association with technical team.

3. Preparation of Customer Quality Assurance Plan to be submitted along with

the tender.

4. Preparation of vendor enquiry (technical part) for outsourcing works such as

dynamic balancing, stress relieving, machining, milling, etc. and Quality

Assurance Plan.

5. Preparation of customized process sheet, work instructions, etc. on enquiries.

6. To visit vendor’s place to clarify technical queries of the vendor prior to

offer submission.

PURCHASE:

1. Assisting purchase department in purchasing materials, instruments, tools,

machineries and equipments i.e. capacity, dimensions & other technical data.

2. Visiting vendor’s place to check whether the item is as per our requirement

or not. Inspecting/ witnessing load tests, dimensioning, etc.

3. To prepare technical part of purchase orders to be released to the vendors.
