ORDER

Hon'ble High Court of Delhi vide judgement dated 24u, November, 2014 in WP(C) - 4607of 2013, titled Justice for All Vs Govt of NeT of Delhi and Am directed this department toensure the admission of 25% EWS Children in all schools including Nursery Schools whichhave been allotted land on such condition by Delhi Development Authority. The operative partof the Judgement is as under:

"we direct the Directorate of Education, GNCTD to all yearly basis ensure that allschools including nursery schools which have been allotted land on the condition ofadmitting 25% of the students ill schools established thereon from weaker sectionsof the society and on freeship basis, abide thereby and if finds any such schools tobe in breach. immediately send intimation thereof to the DDA. We also direct DDA toimmediately on receipt of such intimation, initiate the process of cancellation of theleases. "

As per details provided by the Delhi Development Authority 96 societies (list attachedwhich were allotted land for establishing Nursery schools) were issued directions byDirectorate of Education on 01.04.2016 to comply with the terms of allotment of land in rio25% EWS admission in their schools(Copy enclosed). But several of these societies neitherfurnished any compliance nor any reply in response to the said directions dated 01.04.2016.

Now therefore, the Regional Directors (Education) are hereby directed to get visitedthe offices of these societies falling in their jurisdiction.

The inspection shall be conducted by an officer not below the rank of DOE (Zone) andfinding of the same will be recorded in enclosed proforma. It may also be kept in mind that ifit is ascertained after the visit of the society that a school is being run by the society on thebasis of allotment of land by the DDA, then the school in question shall also be visitedjinspected by the same officer, irrespective of the jurisdiction of the area.

The consolidated report shall be furnished by the Regional Director conce ed within15 days in the enclosed proforma without fail. L0 : ~'VS"\\.
