Listening Analysis
Name: Gregory Hilleren
Choose a location on campus and listen carefully for all the sounds that are present. Get in a comfortable, relaxed position and try to separate the total sound in the environment into the individual parts. On a piece of paper, list each sound you hear as you identify it. Even what we usually consider quiet environments actually have a variety of very low level sounds. Try to identify every sound that is present in the environment.
1. Once you have identified all the sounds, arrange the sounds in order of apparent loudness on the table below.
2. Indicate which direction each sound is coming from.
3. Below the table, provide a short narrative description of the place you chose to do this assignment. This assignment is due next class period.SoundFrontLeftRightBehindNo Direction or Other

I live in Rand 247 so towards my right is the door which leads upstairs to the rest of Rand while to my left is an open window facing the woods behind Rand. Directly in front of me is our large tv while 30 degrees right is the open door to my bathroom which leads to Jakobs room.
