Little Ducklings Preschool make it clear from the start that we are an Inclusive setting and that all children are welcomed, regardless of their individual needs or abilities. You can find such information throughout our policies.

We meet all requirements of the SEND Code of Practice 0-25 2015.Staff take up training throughout the year, keeping abreast of any changes or amendments in any aspect of Early Years and then feed back to the other members of staff.

Our planning is suitable and adapted to include all children, creating positive outcomes from each learning opportunity.

Observations and planning are fed back daily to parents. We encourage communication on all levels that include all children,

including sign language at circle time. We are flexible in all of or our approaches to learning and teaching,

enabling us to adapt to meet a particular need of a child. We interact with parents and children, taking their views into account. Outside agencies are welcomed into our setting to work with children. Regular staff meetings enable us to work together and plan any special

educational needs.

Families can be guided to the Local offer by going to www.lincolnshire.gov.uk then going to the Family Service Directory (FSD), which is to the right of the page. The local offer gives children and young people with Special Educational needs or disabilities and their families information about what support services the local authority think will be available in their local area.
