Little Acorns Fostering, one of the UK’s fastest-growing foster care agencies, is expanding its
workforce to cope with unprecedented demand for placements. The agency is hiring more
qualified and appropriately experienced social workers to help train and support foster carers and
achieve long-term stable placements for children in care.

agency to deliver its services on an even greater level than ever before, taking care of everything

The new team members will join the family-run business which currently boasts over 100 years’ of
combined experience across Social Work, Residential Care, Judiciary and Fostering Services.

families living in the region of Haverhill in Suffolk, Essex, Herts, Cambs and Norfolk to enable them to
achieve long term, stable placements and the best possible outcomes for the children in their
care.Little Acorns Fostering aims to continue to meet its goals by expanding its workforce to meet
the increasing need for its services.

Little Acorns Fostering currently provides full support and assistance to anyone wishing to become a
foster carer, from providing initial information and beginning the assessment process to allocating an
appropriate fostering allowance and delivering ongoing support. Some of the resources available
from Little Acorns Fostering include: support groups for children in care facilitated by Social Work
qualified service users, external training courses for carers, crisis intervention support, Cognitive
Behavioural Therapy work, Secure Base attachment implementation, fun and activity days, a drop in
centre for carers and children, emergency respite facilities and many, many more.

between 4 and 6 months. The agency also provides a generous fostering allowance that is
