Top Tips #2

Make sure your staff can be found

Have you ever been to an event where you just can’t seem to be able to speak to

the organiser or find staff from the company who is hosting the event?

Not being able to find a person, particularly when you have questions is not only

frustrating but it leaves a poor impression, which may be a first impression.

So I have some top tips when it comes to making sure you and your staff can

always be found, making sure you don’t miss a sales opportunity.

Photos

On your event invite, registration page or webpage have photos, names and

titles of staff who will be at the event so people can make a beeline for who

they would like to meet.

Coloured name badges

Perhaps you could create name badges in another colour for staff to wear so

they can be easily distinguished from other guests.

Branded clothing

Could branded polo shirts or other clothing be suitable?

Welcome guests on arrival

Upon entry to the event staff, other than those managing registration could

be welcoming guests on arrival.

Manned entrance at all times

Always have somebody at the registration desk, throughout your event so if

people are unable to find who they are looking for or do have a question, that

is the one place they will look first.
