The Brief

• To launch the first ever social media campaign for Little Kangaroos for children’s day.

• This was a test campaign. To check how our fans are responding to the content we post on FB.

• To make sure that the brand doesn’t get lost in the conversation, yet make people participate and engage in the ongoing Children's day activities through online and offline platforms that are used by the brand

• Campaign should focus on Mumbai and Delhi as a geographical region yet open to people from other regions of India

• Cross link online & offline promotions. Promote store level discounts on FB.

• The main objective was to create a connection between the audience and the brand.

Challenges?

• As Little Kangaroos is a new entrant on social media platforms had very few fans and very less awareness of the brand online. It was a challenge to get participants for the activities.

• To create a series of engaging activities that shall not only help the existing fan base participate but also generate new additions

• Try and gather fan base from Mumbai, Delhi & northern India in limited time

• Keep FANS involved on day to day basis

• While the focus was on Children’s day contest, brand awareness and promotion was very necessary.

• Increment in Fan Base and general people talking about it

• As many of the other kids clothing brands , we had to create a unique mix of activities that attract people from all regions of India.

The thought…

• Relate our TG with our products through Children’s day contest

• Make connect with our brand and target people who have kids to visit our store.

• The activities need to be bifurcated in two main campaigns; 1: Share your kids special moments with us by clicking their picture and posting on our wall & 2: Store offer

Christmas Celebration!

• Christmas campaign is the most important celebration for

Little Kangaroos as we are positioned an international

brand

• We humanized the brand as the “LKSanta” who loves

kids and loves to give away gifts on Christmas

• With a hashtag of #LKSanta we did 2 contests on FB for

chirstmas

• The 2 contests were: 1. Letter to #LKSanta &

2. Color the #LKSanta

Impact

• These 2 activities were highly interactive and involved

the influencer and buyer of our products both.

• In the process of promoting their kid’s letter they ended

up in promoting Little Kangaroos on their Facebook

pages.

• In between we also promoted LK’s Autumn/Winter

collection 2013
