WHAT IS CO-OP?Better than an internship, co-op is semesters of paid, full-time work in your field. On average students earn $40,000 through total co-op earnings. Students receive guidance on resumes and interviewing, and a database of 100s of employers to work for. Engineering, IT, Design, Business, and Communication all offer co-op experiences.

We believe that the walls of a classroom should never confine you or your education. That’s why every Cincinnati student participates in experienced-based learning:

cooperative education / internships / service learning / study abroad / capstone projects / research / artistic performance

CO-OP SCHEDULEUndergraduate programs featuring co-op typically take 5 years to complete: 4 years studying at UC (paying tuition) and 12–18 months of employment (no tuition payments).
