pm (Spanish) or Thursday morning at 10 am
(Bilingual). Indeed after all we have been through
these past two years- so have so much to thank God
for! On this Christ the King Sunday we recognize the
rightful place that Jesus belongs at the center of our
life! Let us be thankful people not only this

to Santo Domingo. We thank him for his time with
us and sharing his wisdom. Fr Eric was a great help
at our meetings regarding the Synod. We wish him
a safe trip and hope he visits us again soon.
BISHOP BRENNAN: Next Tuesday, November30th
Bishop Brennan will be installed as the new Bishop
of the Diocese of Brooklyn. We will begin to pray
for Robert our bishop on that day. If you are able,
plan on watching it on the diocesan tv channel- NET
Channel 97 on Spectrum/ Optimum channel 30 or
Verizon Fios on channel 48.

THANKSGIVING PRAYER 2021 Lord, on this Thanksgiving Day we are reminded of all we have been through. In our personal lives, our families, our parish, our city, our country, and our world. The past two years have not been easy. Yet today we are THANKFUL. We are thankful for all your blessings and all you have given us. Above all, we are thankful that you have never abandoned us. In the most difficult times and situations- you are always with us! This is why we are so grateful this Thanksgiving Day 2021. Bless our families, our parish of St Bartholomew and bless our world. Bless this food we receive from your goodness, through Christ our Lord. Amen

Join us for the final English mass of 2021 which will be celebrated December 31, 2021 at 11:15 am by Msgr Gildea. The theme of the homily will be: New year - New You: Growing older gracefully. All are invited to participate in this mass. Following the mass we will offer a light lunch and champagne toast in the school gym. Tickets are $10 and will be limited only to 60 people. Proof of vaccination will be required to attend this lunch. (please, no children) Tickets will be available for purchase beginning Tuesday, November 30 at 10 am in the rectory.

In order to give letters of recommendation, letters attesting to character, sponsor certificates, and other documents that may have legal or religious purposes, it is required that persons requesting those documents be registered and be active members of St Bartholomew Parish at least three months prior to your request. THANKSGIVING COLLECTION: The collection this Wednesday and Thursday – Thanksgiving- is for the poor and needy
of our parish. On a regular basis we assist our parishioners who can use the extra help. Your generous donation goes
directly to members of St Bart’s Parish family. Special envelopes can be found at the entrance of the churches.

2022 CALENDARS: Our new calendars will be distributed at the Thanksgiving masses this
Wednesday and Thursday. The Neufeld Funeral Home has been generously donating these calendars probably since the parish began distributing calendars. Joe Neufeld and his family not only donate calendars every year- but they have also been generously donating toward the needs of our church and school for more than 80 years!! Our parish salutes the Neufeld Family and sincerely thanks them for their generosity and care they show to our parish.
