When do you feel the closest to God?

If “seeking God” is about searching to know God and live in Him, how are you doing in this area? Recall a time when you were really living “in” God. Describe what that period of time looked like and how you can get back to that way (or sustain) that way of living.

What would your life be like if your priority was to seek God versus looking for the answers to life’s big questions? What mistakes or regrets could you have avoided?

In his book, Sacred Pathways, author Gary Thomas explains that God has wired us to connect with Him in unique ways. How do you best connect with God? What are some things you can do to maximize that connection?

Living righteously means that we are obedient to God out of love and desire to serve Him. What is the difference between living righteously and just living by rules?

God takes care of those that He loves! This means that we can count on God to provide for our needs. If that is the case, then why do we still worry or become anxious?

Worrying and anxiety distract us from seeking and trusting God. Share a time when you pushed aside worry in order to trust God’s provision for your needs. What happened and what did you learn?
