BUILDING PROTOCOLS With our staff continuing to work at home, our church building remains locked during most of the day. If you

should need be in the building, please remember to wear a mask. It is for your safety and the safety of others. We have also have a sign-in station with hand sanitizer and sign-in instructions. For Insurance purposes, we need to

know who enters the building and when, so please comply. Even if you have a building key, we ask that you

use only the main entrance.

Please see the revised Indoor Worship Protocols on page 3. They were approved by

Council this week.

Appreciation of Water! The Wellness Ministry Team has proposed that there be

a Water Challenge during June to prepare for the

challenge of staying hydrated during the hot summer

months. What does water symbolize for our faith? This

will be a first for Cross & Crown! We'll say more about

the challenge later.

One suggestion is that we develop or find a prayer of

appreciation for water. As we drink our first glass in the

morning (and maybe each glass during the day) we

would pray that prayer. Another possibility is creating an

affirmation regarding the health benefits of being

hydrated.

We invite your creativity. See what you come up with

and email your suggestions to Judy Hughes, our Faith

Community Nurse, at [email protected].

All worshippers are asked to sign in as they enter

Please feel free to sing, but we encourage you to do so softly, while wearing masks.

Group Meetings:

The church building is open as needed for group meetings. Groups are responsible for signing in and cleaning up after use.

Youth Sunday School will continue in a hybrid format, meeting in person, masked, in a designated section of the Fellowship Hall, or outside, weather permitting, with Zoom as a potential option. Their presence must also not exceed our approved guidelines in terms of maximum capacity within the building. Arrangements for this designated area must be made in coordination with the pastor to help ensure no existing conflicts (other classes needing the space).
