Live with Allah

If you see a person who feels that, they can be secured from their own

greed, envy and jealousy then it’s as if they are following the footpath of

shaitan as this is what happened with shaitan. He was among the good

ones who were worshipping Allah but he was excluded due to his self-

dependency. It was as if shaitan put himself in danger and he belittled

adam and underestimated Adam’s ability. Shaitan wanted higher

position than angels because of the jealousy he had. Shaitan thought it

can secure itself and that its self-sufficient and it believed on his own

self. Shaitan was rajeem (casted), excluded in a humiliated way.

Allah is the only one who can give us security. If I am feeling that I can

give security to my own self then I am putting myself in a position

where I will be excluded and putting myself to danger like Iblees did. If

we are in a trial then we want to be out of the trial. How to solve our

problems? Only Allah Al Momin can make you secure and only He can

keep you secure and not exclude you ever. In surah hijr Allah says we

are created by mud that quickly gets affected with, heat, sicknesses and

viruses. How can someone trust something made of mud or dirt that is

what we are made of? Shaitan thought that it’s made of fire and it can

destroy anything. He took security in its own creation so Allah is

reminding us that we are made of mud so that we do not do the same

mistake as shaitan who was proud with his own self. We cannot trust

on our own nafs. We cannot comfort ourselves telling that we are good.

Shaitan showed arrogance and refused to prostrate when Allah

commanded him. He knows Allah so he asked for a respite and Allah

gave Him that and kept him alive till the Day of Judgement. Allah gave

this for a purpose to show us the reality and see who will be listening to

shaitan and who is pure in their worship.

We want to be safe from my own nafs and stay in the safe zone of Allah

that can only be provided by Allah. We need security only from Allah.

We want to be safe from our nafs and evil that can affect our emaan and

we need to save ourselves from dependency on our own nafs. We need to

protect ourselves from inner and outer evil. Allah will take you out of all

kinds of evil.

There are many external evils like media, evil friends, following

forefathers, jealousy from people around, evil of shaitan and evil of

fortune telling. We are surrounded by many evils and fitnahs. Shaitan

makes false promises with us. For example, he promised Adam that I

swear by Allah if you eat from the tree you will never die. We can find

security only with Allah. Allah gives you security with evidence and He

protects you always. The people who believe in Allah and have trust in

Him they will feel secure always.

If you are in good company and situation you do not want to be out of

that but if you are surrounded by evil you need to get out of that. If you

are pure in your relationship then shaitan cannot effect your

relationship. Ikhlaas is very important; you do every deed for the sake

of Allah. That’s why Ikhlaas is that whether people praise you or not

you will still continue to do good deeds.

Bad and evil is present and they will stay till the Day of Judgment but I

don’t want to be excluded from the people who are secured by Allah.

Can anyone give you security in your grave? Only Allah can do that and

only He can give you shade on that Day when there will be no other

shade.

When you are not secure then you keep panicking and start doing

wrong things to protect yourself, the example is of virus do we need to

get so scared how people are sanitizing everything. Do you think you

can kill all viruses just by sanitizing everything? That’s not possible. In

order to continue with a normal life you need to trust Allah. Do not be

scared of everything just believe in Allah. Ask Allah to protect you from

seen and unseen evil.

Allah says the Mutaqeen will be in paradise, so we need to have taqwa.

This is for our own benefit and security. You want to succeed so Allah is

giving you the remedy for getting into paradise. Taqwa is to protect

yourself from evil by asking Allah. This is how you put a shield for your

protection. Mutaqeen don’t follow their desires rather they completely

trust Allah. You will be secured from Ikhlaas. You can enter paradise

with peace and security. If you want your marriage to be secure then

bring ikhlaas and taqwaa and you will see amazing results.

Oils which are very pure need protection from light for that we secure

them in a dark glass rather than in clear as it gets spoiled so you

protect it in this way. Therefore, if you want protection you need to take

some measures and for security, you need to depend on Allah through

having ikhlaas and taqwa.

At night, there are so many evils like unseen and mosquitos and

unknown viruses. You need to trust Allah for protection from all kinds

of evil. For sure, Allah keeps its true believers secure until they reach

paradise. Allah says with salam that means with peace there is not

even a scratch or wound for these people. They are in perfect shape in

paradise.

Then people in paradise need to have social and emotional security so

Allah taala removes all kinds of ill feelings towards to each other. There

are so many insecurities in this world but in paradise, you will not have

any ill feelings. Only Allah can grant this perfect moment to us. In this

world we do not feel good neither do we feel happy. Only Allah can deal

with it and keep our good feelings safe. Don’t you want good times with

your husband and children to be secured? Only Allah can protect us and

keep these moments safe for us.

Prophet Muhammad ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص said that if you see a study circle then sit Allah

will surround you with angels and provide with security. Allah

surrounds you with his mercy and He blesses you by forgiving your sins.

When you believe in Allah Al Momin then you will feel secure. Strong

believer is more beloved to Allah than a weak one. Evil is around us and

we cannot fight everything away we need to struggle to get better and

tackle fitnah that we face. The strong believer is the one who is strong

in faith.

People have fixed a day for love, why is that the case? You can love

everyday then why do we need to fix a day or the color red for it. People

have needs and they want to feel secure but they forget that Allah alone

can keep your love secure. When you believe that Allah can secure love

for you, it will be long lasting and you will be able to love every day. He

is the One who can keep you secure emotionally and mentally. Allah

can bring situations that keeps the love secure and increasing. Allah

can give this security by providing you the means to love each other.

Allah will take care of everything. Do not trust yourself or shaitan for

anything. Allah will put you in safety and give you emotional and social

security.

Women sometimes feel insecure in marriage due to several reasons;

Allah will keep it safe if you trust Him. Don’t be afraid that what will

happen if this happens or that, Allah will protect you. Nobody will exit

from paradise it is a permanent abode for you. Allah can keep you safe

and give you inner strength and strength.

Prophet Muhammad ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص said that I didn’t see anything more perfect than

these two surahs that is for safety and security, it is Surah Falaq and

Naas.

We need to expect only from Allah, that is what Allah taught us to

nurture us in this life. We are doing ayah Dain in Surah Baqarah and

we learnt that we need to write the transactions that are occurring in

between us when trading.

Allah’s bounty and generosity is unlimited. You need to believe in Allah

and trust Him. You need to be firm on your belief. Learning is a process

that happens with different situations.

Surah Falaq and Naas are called Muadhatein. These surahs are at the

end of Quran. Last week we did beginning of Quran when we did Fatiha

and this is end of Quran. Surah Fatiha is all about Uboodiya (worship)

of Allah. You will be secured by believing in Allah and putting trust in

Allah for your security.

Allah will protect you from both external and internal evil through

these surahs as both are asking to be protected from both external and

internal evils. You will be increased in security and safety. We need to

ask Allah for security that is what Prophet Muhammad ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص asked us to

read these surah. Surah falaq is for external evil, as we cannot stop evil

around us and I want to be safe so I need to seek refuge in Allah. If I am

always panicking, I cannot focus on worshipping Allah. To protect

ourselves we need to seek refuge in Allah. It starts with Qull Aoodho,

Allah is telling the prophet to say I seek refuge. Prophet Muhammad ملسو هيلع هللا ىلص

was taught these surahs when he was affected by magic and poison so it

is for protection and we need to have this faith that if we seek refuge in

Allah then nothing can harm us.

Falaq means Split whether this is a split for morning or the split for

water to come and finally when the seed splits the tree grows. This

shows that how important is the split that occurs in nature. It grown

life and sustains life on this earth. Allah gives you security so that you

are not afraid of anything. Falaq means something good will come out

because it is from Allah.

Naas meaning moving, disturbance, someone who moves and disturbs.

It also means to forget and to feel familiar. Why are we seeking refuge

from this? Because shaitan makes us forget the right actions and to

make us move for sins. How much Allah gave you security and peace.

Surah naas is for anything that disturbs you or affects your familiarity.

Looking and observing at these surahs tells us that panicking about the

evil outside however Allah used His name once for external evil but

three names for evil inside us, that shows that we need to be scared of

evil inside us three times more than external evil

If we notice carefully then in Surah Falaq there are four kinds of evil

mentioned from which we are seeking refuge and these are external evil

and Allah used only one Name to seek refuge from these evil. This

shows that although there will be more evil outside but you need to

worry and focus more on internal evil. We are always worried and

panicking about external evil. We ask from Rabbil Falaq because we are

actually depending on His ability to open for us even if we don’t know of

some evil and to open the cure for it. Only Allah can protect us from

these external evil. The Rabb who can open the seed and split opens the

sky for day to come; can He not protect you from evil?

We are asking Ya Rabb protect us from evil of everything Allah created,

these include everything that Allah has created and you are asking

refuge from their evil. Second is the night when it covers that means

anything scary in the night you seek refuge from it. Maybe there is evil

in the darkness and you are seeking refuge from it.

Next you are asking to seek refuge from the people who are blowing on

knots so you ask to disable these people when they are blowing in order

to protect ourselves from any magic.

Lastly when someone is being jealous and having envy towards to you.

Allah will disable the harm when the action is happening and from its

affects.
