• Your computer MUST be on in order for you to upload your files to Livedrive - can’t be in sleep or hibernate mode.

size of the folder.
Tips
• Livedrive will mirror your PC as to where the files are located
– Follow the path of the files on your computer and use the same path on Livedrive
– For example - this is the same for MS Outlook files • You may have to search the internet to give you a start as to
where to find the Outlook address book and data files
• Your personal computer may have some deviations from what is stated on the internet
• Photos take much longer to upload and download therefore if you have lots of photos expect your initial backup to be very time consuming.
Summary
• Livedrive is easy to use and self-explanatory
• Initial backup may take day(s) depending upon the amount of your data and your internet upload speed
• After the initial backup everything is quick, automatic and transparent
• Your data will be safe and secure
