ADMINISTRATIVE LAW (LLAW 3093) 2014-2015 **AN IMPORTANT NOTE ON TUTORIALS** Welcome to Administrative Law! Please note the following ground rules for tutorials: 1. You must attend the tutorial timeslot assigned to you. “Sitting-in” in another tutorial group is ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED. Each tutorial group is designed to consist of an optimal number of students to facilitate learning. Groups that are too small or large are not conducive to learning. The system is not designed such that students can attend whatever group they wish to attend. We repeat: you are not allowed to “sit in” another tutorial group. All tutors will take attendance at each tutorial. 2. One-off change of tutorial timeslot. If EXCEPTIONALLY you need to attend another tutorial timeslot for a particular week for good reasons, please obtain permission from BOTH your tutor AND the tutor of the group that you intend to join. 3. Please mark your diaries. The two-hour tutorials will take place only ROUGHLY bi-weekly; please follow closely the tutorial schedule issued to you. Please do not “estimate” the tutorial dates on your own. 4. Your tutor is your first port of call for questions on the content of the course. Your tutor will direct questions to the lecturers, where appropriate. 5. Please prepare for and bring all necessary materials for each tutorial class. You will only be able to learn effectively if you have prepared before class. Tutorial discussions will only be able to proceed if you participate.
