• Load Banks – UR owns a wide variety of load banks used for unity, leading, or lagging power factor testing of electrical systems. Primary applications include generator testing, turbines, sub-station relays, power distribution, uninterruptible power supplies, and switchgear sequencing. Mechanical systems are also validated using load banks for commissioning heat load criteria for AC units and large chiller systems.
