“God is able to provide you with every blessing, so that having all sufficiency in all things at all times, you may

abound in every good work.” (2 Corinthians 9:8)

Sherburne United Church of Christ is seeking a full time settled pastor with strengths in creating joyful and uplifting multi-generational worship services. We desire someone who engages our congregation with the use of technology but also appreciates tradition. We are looking for a kind pastor with a gift for creating and leading children and youth ministries. We are seeking a compassionate and relatable person to provide excellent pastoral care.

We are an inclusive and welcoming church that supports our community through local initiatives in addition to our global missions. We value our congregation as a second family and conclude each Sunday service with a well-attended fellowship hour.

We are a small historic church located at the center of the village of Sherburne in the heart of central New York. There are local opportunities for shopping and entertainment. Sherburne is only a short drive from numerous larger cities and colleges. Additionally, our school system is award winning.

Thank you for reading our introduction. We invite you to read further about Sherburne United Church of Christ by clicking the link provided. If you feel that God has called you with the gifts to lead our church, we are eager to read your profile. May God guide all of us on our journey.

Summary Ministry Description:

Our church is moving toward a greater level of excitement in our worship services with more engagement. We like seeing our congregation enjoy worshiping together using technology and different service formats to enhance the worship experience. The church is involved in ongoing mission projects in the community and working collaboratively with other not-for-profit organizations to provide programs and services that improve the lives of our neighbors. Christian education will continue to evolve for all ages. We utilize technology to spread Christ’s teaching beyond our walls via social media and webcasts. We pray for increased fellowship opportunities to encourage members to grow in their knowledge and love of our church family. Our church has the financial resources to accomplish these goals for the future. We hope the new pastor will continue to keep us moving forward, growing together in faith, and creating greater impact for our community both in and outside our church walls.

WHO IS GOD CALLING TO MINISTER WITH US?

Describe the ministry goals you envision your next minister co - collaborating with the congregation to achieve.

• Create an outstanding multi-generational worship service that uses a variety of ways to engage the congregation and utilize social media to reach out to the community.

• Work with local not-for-profit organizations to expand our local missions. Please click on this link to our churches missions page. https://www.sherburneucc.org/missions

• Re-invigorate Christian education and fellowship opportunities. • Strengthen pastoral and spiritual care to everyone.

Our vision for the minister we are now seeking will assist the congregation in making an impact beyond its walls by:

• Creating an environment where “All Are Welcome Here”, helping us grow in our understanding of the needs of others as we strive to become more inclusive.

• An open friendly person to help bridge divides and foster relationships both in and out of the church.

• To help us discover new opportunities for missions sharing his/her past mission experiences to brainstorm new ways to share God’s love.

• Making the Sherburne community his/her home by sharing in the enjoyment of our local events and small town atmosphere.

English is the only language requirement. Our community is predominantly Caucasian and English speaking.

Based on what you have learned about who your church is, who your church’s neighbor is, and who God is calling the church to become, describe four areas of excellence from The Marks of Faithful & Effective Authorized Ministry that your next minister will display to further equip the congregation’s ministry in these areas.

• To engage in community leadership that is collaborative and transformative. • To appreciate, practice, and pass on traditions of faith while interpreting

them in the light of the context of a diverse and changing world. • To discern God’s mission in the world and, in response, to lead ministries of

compassion, nurture, justice, and proclamation that support fullness of life for all people.

• To provide effective and appropriate pastoral care and Christian Education, and to equip and motivate others to share in these ministries.

• Our mitten tree is up during the colder months in front of our church for all in the community to take hats, mittens, or scarves as needed.

• Our church has opened its doors to support groups for families of addiction.

• We allow other groups to use our facilities such as Blood Drives and Financial Peace University and other community groups.

• We host several free community meals through out the year. • We have an active Social Media presence to connect with people daily.

Describe the educational program and/or faith formation vision of your church.

The Upper Room devotional magazine is often used for inspiration. Our Sunday school uses the Spirit and Truth Program that follows the Narrative Lectionary endorsed by the United Church of Christ. This engages children and leaders and sparks enthusiasm. During Lenten and Advent seasons we like to offer adult education series using United Church of Christ resources.

Describe how your congregation is organized for ministry and mission.

The Sherburne United Church of Christ has a long history of supporting our pastor and working collaboratively to build a strong, loving congregation, that spreads our Christian beliefs in the community. We have a committee centered governing structure with most of the work and decisions of the church coming from these committees. Ultimately all decisions rest with the total membership of the congregation. Our expectations of the pastor are he/she will hear all sides of a discussion in committee meetings and clearly state his/her position and ideas that will strengthen our church. Through the pastor’s insights, the congregation is able to gain trust in his/her leadership and acquire a greater understanding of the pastor’s ministerial path. The pastor is an integral part of our church family and his/her voice and opinion are valuable in incorporating their views into the fiber of our church.

Over the last 30 to 40 years the church leadership has been extremely stable, reliant on several dozen members rotating among the committees and 4 to 5 members serving as church moderator in that time period. The Trustee Committee has set a strong course of fiscal stability to ensure our viability to move forward. We have many groups and committees that continue to work collaboratively for the betterment of the church and community. In addition, we meet as an entire congregation as needed.

The Sherburne United Church of Christ looks forward to working with our new pastor. We look for his/her wisdom, knowledge and guidance to help us grow as a congregation in our faith and spirituality. Working together with our pastor we will continue to make sound decisions necessary to move our church forward, so we can remain faithful servants and continue to serve as beacons of Christ’s light and love in our community.

When it comes to decision-making, how many hours are spent in meetings per month?

As a congregation centered church each committee plays a part in our decision making process. The meeting times listed are approximate per monthly meetings. * Indicates committee participation is required by our pastor, the other committees are optional but encouraged.

• Trustees - 1.5 hours • Executive - 2 hours • Pastor Relations - 1.5hours* • Diaconate – 1.5 hours* • Missions – 1.5 hours plus special projects

Think of a time when action had to be taken quickly, for example when a crisis or disaster occurred. How was that accomplished?

In the event of a disaster the Trustee chair and Moderator are contacted. These officers then contact other committee members as necessary, and action is taken. In addition, we have a disaster preparedness plan.

Can you provide the next minister with a copy of an organization structure, bylaws and/or annual report to further explain the patterns of the church’s activity and governance?

Reflection: After reviewing the church’s finances and assets described above, what does this information reflect about your congregation’s mission and ministry?

After several months of discussion, weighing both sides of the full-time vs. part-time debate, the congregation elected to search for a full-time settled pastor. The congregation is well aware that this is a long term commitment and that there will be no turning back in this decision. The Church was presented with financial data showing the funding strategy that would allow for a full-time pastor to be paid at conference guidelines and with the suggested benefit package. This will be accomplished through judicious use of the church's endowment funds and without an adverse impact on the funds principle balance. The clear majority of the congregation felt that in order to institute new programs and restore programs which have fallen by the wayside, a full-time pastor was needed. The congregation recognizes that the development of programs requires time and nurturing and that the hours allotted to a part-time pastor would not be sufficient to allow for these new endeavors. The Church has enthusiastically embraced the idea of once again having a full-time settled pastor and look forward to working with the new pastor in moving our church forward.

We contribute both globally and locally to many missions.

The budget is proposed by the Trustees with input from all church committees. The proposed budget is then presented to the Executive committee. If approved by the Executive Committee, the budget is presented to the full congregation for their consideration and approval.

HISTORICAL INFORMATION

Name one to three significant happenings in the history of your church that have shaped the identity of your congregation. Add the most important event in the life of your church in the past 10 years.

1. The church burned on September 21, 1880.

2. The gift of our endowments.

3. We had an Intentional Interim Pastor who helped us grow and heal, which was the most important event in the life of our church in the last 10 years.

Describe a specific change your church has managed in the recent past.

Over the last couple of years our diaconate has transitioned our worship services into the 21st century. We’ve added more contemporary music and a multimedia inspirational time that offers a contemporary element to each service. Additionally, we use our multimedia screen to project music, bible passages, and announcements as well as add images that help tell a story to enhance learning and understanding during our weekly message, scriptures, prayers and hymns.

Every church has conflict, some minor, some larger. “Where two or three are gathered, there will be disagreement....” Describe your congregation’s values and practices when it comes to conflict.

We understand the importance of having a means of resolving conflict and the guidelines for conducting ourselves. We now have a covenant for guiding us and have all church meetings whenever the need arises

the call to Sherburne, I was in the process of getting married. Shortly after my appointment, I married and settled into the village. The transition to Sherburne was more difficult for us as a couple than we anticipated. Moving to Sherburne was our first journey together, and we discovered that we deeply value family as our core community. We needed them to be physically present in our lives. As a couple, we operate under a collectivist mentality more than a western, individualistic mentality. Being far from family was difficult emotionally and personally. We struggled with this difficulty and spent several months discerning what to do. In the end, we decided that the best thing for us was to relocate. It’s primarily for this reason that we have moved and I have stepped down from my position as the settled pastor of Sherburne United Church of Christ. They are a good congregation and a church deserving of a great pastor. I hope and pray that you will be that person for them.

WHO IS OUR NEIGHBOR?

COMMUNITY VISION MISSION

COMMUNITY VISION

How do the relationships and activities of your congregation extend outward in service and advocacy?

Sherburne UCC has a very active Missions Committee that provides community outreach throughout the year. In August our church purchases school supplies to give-away to area children. Some congregants participate in an ecumenical Hunger Walk where 100% of the proceeds remain in the local area. Throughout the year, the congregation collects items for the local food pantry. Christmas food baskets, clothing, and gifts are donated by the congregation for area children, their families and the elderly. For many years, we have assembled numerous Lenten kits are assembled and donated by members of the congregation and given to Church World Services for distribution. We are also a 5 for 5 church, donating funds from line items in our budget as well as contributions from special offerings. Missions committee has planned, provided food, and hosted free community dinners. While our church is active in missions, there is always a need for new initiatives. There has been recent discussion about offering outreach in response to the heroin epidemic as well as providing space for a gay/straight alliance for the community.

Describe your congregation’s participation in meetings, relationships and activities connecting the wider United Church of Christ (association / conference / national setting).

Our congregation actively participates at Conference, Association, and National levels. Delegates and the Pastor attend the NY Conference, and NY Women's Conference. Additionally, delegates and Pastor attend bi-annual Association meetings, and our Pastor’s involvement on Association committees have always been supported by the congregation.

Reflect on what the above statement(s) mean(s) to your community. Is your congregation interested in working toward any of the above statements of witness in the near future?

Yes. Our congregation has been in discussion regarding the A2A statement for some time. Our trustees have discussed the initiative and an outreach organization has been contacted to meet with our trustees to help us determine the best way to modify our building including our sanctuary to make it more accessible.

The Intercultural/Multiracial Statement is one we feel strongly about. The topic has been discussed during “All Church” meetings on more than one occasion. This is an important topic because although we have a predominately white community our wider families and communities that we serve beyond Sherburne, include more racial and ethnic diversity.

Describe your congregation’s participation in ecumenical and interfaith activities (with other denominations and religious groups, local and regional).

Our church is very active in ecumenical programming. Sherburne UCC delegates meet monthly with the Sherburne Council of Churches to organize the following ecumenical programs that are well attended by the congregation:

1. Outdoor worship service at the local conservation center

2. Dedication of the community Creche (we alternate planning and hosting this event with other area churches

3. Support the Ecumenical Food Pantry

4. 9/11 Ecumenical Remembrance Walk

5. Publicize and participate in the Walk for Hunger

6. Lenten Service

If your congregation has a mission statement, how does that mission statement compare to the actual time spent engaging in different activities? Think of the range of activities from time spent gathering, to governance, to time spent going out.

The church does have a mission statement, however it is currently under review.

Reflect on the scope of work assigned to your pastor(s). How is their community ministry and their ministry in and on behalf of the wider church accounted for in the congregation’s expectations on their time?

We recognize that specific allocations of time will vary from week to week based on the needs of the congregation, our pastor, and the community. The congregation’s expectations for the allocation of time and work load are approximate:

• 30% worship services and preparation of those services.

• 20% of the pastor’s time should be spent on pastoral care visiting shut-ins, hospitals, nursing homes, and congregation members in need of care.

• 30% percent of the work load should consist of normal office hours providing a consistent time for church and community members to stop in for assistance or care, community or council of churches meetings, mission projects or other forms of outreach.

• 10% of time would be spent on administration and church committee meetings.

• 10% Wider church ministry

How do your congregation’s internal demographics compare or contrast to a) the neighborhoods adjacent to your church, and b) other neighborhoods with which your church connects?

We serve a rural area. Our demographics do not vary widely from our surrounding neighborhoods.

How are the demographics of the community currently shaping ministry, or not?

We are aware of most of the needs in our community and are working toward meeting them. We welcome insight from our new settled pastor in helping us to expand our efforts.

What do you hear when you talk to community leaders and ask them what your church is known for?

Being a cornerstone of the community, our church is a welcoming and giving church. We are a landmark of the village, located in the center of town.

What do new people in the church say when asked what got them involved?

New people come to our church because we are ONA, we are open, welcoming, and caring. Additionally, our mission projects draw people to us and people agree with our theology.

Appendix B Letters of Reference

Letter 1: Rev. Allen Armstrong

I served as the settled pastor of Sherburne United Church of Christ from October 2017 to May 2019. It is an honor to write this letter of recommendation for them, and it is my hope that I can paint for you a good picture of the community and people of Sherburne United Church of Christ. This is who I believe they are and what they have to offer to any prospective minister or family that feels called to minister and care for them in the future. First, I’d like to tell you about the area, and then I’d like to share with you my perception of them.

When visiting the area for the first time, you’ll notice the beautiful, rolling hills that are indicative of central New York. They hold many adventures and places to explore, from Rexford Falls in Sherburne to thousands of acres of State lands nearby. In these places you’ll find ample opportunities for outdoor activities such as: hiking, fishing, camping, and kayaking. Just a minute from the church you’ll find Roger’s Environmental Education Center, which is a lovely place to walk and meditate or see wildlife in both summer and winter.

You’ll find that the village of Sherburne is a very walkable and enjoyable place. As you walk around, you’ll notice the Sherburne-Earlville School system on the far end of town, where many of the church’s congregants work or have retired from. If you like high school athletics or have children, this makes living in the village a great place for family and community. One of my favorite things about the church building is its prime location at the heart of the village’s center. It’s just across the street from the post office, a warm cup of coffee from Stewart’s, a fresh slice of New York Pizza at Vinny & Joe’s, and a great sandwich at Stella’s. This convenience makes it easy to have lunch with congregants and to connect with community members. In fact, several of the local pastors frequently meet at the local D&D Diner just a half mile down the road. These pastors are a good support system for any prospective minister.

As you spend time in the area, one of its great treasures is the local community and events. During the summers, the place lights up with community picnics on the church lawn, music in the park (next to the church), color-scape in the neighboring town, and the legendary Pageant of the Bands, which goes right down Main Street, past the church. There is always something to do--summer or

winter--from swimming at the local pool, playing at the park, or snowshoeing and cross-country skiing at Roger’s Center. If you love snow and winter, it’s a place that will make your heart happy. If you’re into academics and college sports, Colgate University is just a ten-minute drive away. They offer public lectures and even a private chapel room for meditation and reading, not to mention lending privileges to their library as a local resident.

These are some of the benefits of the community and area, but what kind of church is Sherburne United Church of Christ?

Sherburne UCC was my first call as an ordained pastor. I had a rather short tenure as their settled pastor. To some this may be alarming, but it shouldn’t be. They have been a kind and gracious church family to my wife and I. After living in the community for a little over a year and going through several major personal life events, we decided to relocate to be closer to family. Our decision was for personal reasons and nothing to do with the church itself. I encourage you to converse with them and see if they are a community that fits your gifts and passions.

One of the things that a prospective pastor should know is that this church is really about community. As a church, they define themselves as a family, always trying to live in covenant and relationship with one another as a family of God does, holding the bond of Christ to be stronger than the bond of blood. The community you will

Letter 1: Rev. Allen Armstrong Con’t.

experiences here reaches beyond the walls of the building. They are all about being a part of the larger community of the village. Many of the members belong to other communities such as Rotary Club, the Conservation Club, the VFW, Community Chorus, and other small, informal networks. These are great opportunities to get connected and meet new people or to find communities outside of the church itself.

They are the kind of people that will bring you jam, fresh eggs, bake you cookies, send you cards, give you calls, and gladly welcome you into their homes and their communities. They will rejoice with you, they will challenge you, they will cry with you, and they will share their lives with you. Most importantly, they are a church that is eager and willing to invite a minister into their lives in an authoritative way. They respect the office of the pastor, and they value their identity as co-ministers in the work of ministry. They enjoy a pastor that is relational, down-to-earth, one in which they can see bits of themselves. In believe they would best be served by someone who understands small town, rural life and both white-collar and blue-collar culture in that context. The church is a mix of both, but leans more toward working professionals.

They hold a mixture of theological views, which can be indicative of the UCC. You’ll find differing views and visions for the church, but they are a church which is hungry to learn and to feel the presence of God. Their hunger is fed most by a pastor that does not lecture or push an agenda, but preaches the gospel as Christ did through parables—connecting the reality of God to everyday, ordinary situations in their lives. They wish to encounter God, not just learn or hear about God. For them, this happens most profoundly through Sunday worship and personal conversations. A pastor who can really listen and hear their stories, and is able to show them where God is in the midst of it all, will flourish here. They crave authenticity and some light-hearted humor from the personal standing in the pulpit.

Lastly, they are a church that is making every effort to move forward and grow. They are in the process of growing and rebuilding after a difficult time with a prior pastorate nearly seven years ago. They did go through a long interim process of growth and healing before my arrival, but after spending just a little over a year with them, I can assure you they are a different church than they were in the past. They have moved forward and are moving forward, becoming an ONA congregation, including technology into worship with PowerPoint, contemporary music, media elements, and taking steps to make the church safe and secure for all who enter their doors. They have great, strong lay leadership who have been with the church for years, but there is also fresh, new leadership with great ideas and visions. They are a church that cares for one another and truly wants to follow after God.

If you are their next pastor, they will bless you and show what the faithfulness of God looks like. May the spirit lead you and guide them in the process of discernment.

In Christ,

Rev. Allen Armstrong

Letter 2: Anne Caton

I am pleased to write this letter of reference for the Sherburne United Church of Christ as part of their Local Church Profile and on behalf of the church members as they proceed on their mission of finding a new clergy leader.

My name is Anne Caton and I serve as the church musician for Sunday services. I play piano, organ and serve as the choir director. I’d like to provide just a little of my background to give you an idea of my perspective and my experience not only with the Sherburne UCC, but also for the region where we live.

I was born and raised in the Sherburne area and attended the school system here in our town. I am the oldest daughter of a large musical (and farming) family and eventually went on to college to further my studies in music education and thereupon became a music teacher. I recently retired from 38 years of public school teaching. I was brought up as a Catholic and regularly attended the church one block from the Sherburne UCC. However, as a young girl, I also had close ties to the UCC as my piano teacher, Earl Collins, was the principal organist and music director of the UCC for countless years (his picture still graces the parlor hall walls). I had my yearly piano recitals in the parlor where the kitchen would be opened up for refreshments afterward. Sometimes, I had my piano lessons at the church. I enjoyed this church from a very young age.

Overtime, my husband and I raised a family and I was very busy being an elementary music teacher in our local Sherburne-Earlville School district and being private piano teacher. I was also very busy serving as substitute organist for a large number of churches in the village and neighboring towns.

In the fall of 2013, the church organist retired from the UCC and it was then I started playing full time for the Sherburne United Church of Christ. Shortly after this, in the month of November, my dear mother (who was also a music teacher and my greatest influence) sadly passed away. The Sunday morning following my mother’s death, I played the church service. I considered finding a substitute to cover for me, but in the end was so glad I came to church to play the service that day as it managed to help heal the open wound. Every word, every hymn seemed to help in my time of sorrow. And coincidentally, this very same Sunday, as every year before Thanksgiving, the church congregation holds their traditional Thanksgiving dinner immediately following the service in the church parlor.

Instead of staying for the dinner, I naturally went home to be with my extended family who were arriving from all parts of the country to attend to the extensive job of the business of preparing for our mother’s funeral service and to grieving.

A couple of hours later something amazing happened. Two wonderful individuals from the United Church of Christ arrived at my mother’s home armed with FOOD!! Tons of food. And not just any food. It was the Thanksgiving dinner! Because of the generosity of the UCC people, my six other brothers and sisters, their spouses, children and extended family were treated to a Thanksgiving dinner that some had already felt might have to be skipped that year. It truly was a blessing. An incredibly generous and thoughtful blessing.

Letter 2: Anne Caton Con’t.

What was so extraordinary is that we were all able to sit down together as a family and eat a delicious meal with all of the traditional fixings, sharing stories and eating a meal just as if our mother was still at the table. And to most of all, give thanks. It helped in so many ways in our time of sorrow.

I have been playing Sundays for the Sherburne United Church of Christ ever since that Sunday in November of 2013 and not a Sunday goes by when I am still grateful for those actions on that day. And each Sunday I continue to see this congregation do good works for so many people in so many situations.

Now, I realize that this letter’s opening is long winded and sounds like it’s all about me. But I assure you it is not. I just hoped to illustrate my own personal attachment to this area called ‘central New York’ and a significant experience that I have had with this church and it’s people

I have immense gratitude for this place called Sherburne and the surrounding area where I grew up and chose to raise my family. Its pastoral setting is filled with God’s beauty that is breathtaking in all four seasons. (I’m sure there are many who might challenge me on the season of winter). The school, the people, the small businesses, and the proximity to cultural events make the area rich despite its rural nature. And in the center of all of this, there is The Sherburne United Church of Christ, a church that has so much to offer.

In a time when many people do not attend church regularly or at all, I believe the biggest challenge for the UCC is to convince more people of it’s purposeful existence and the benefits of it’s ministry. Although the Sunday attendance has dropped significantly over the years, the heart and soul of this church is as sound as can be. The strength of the Sherburne United Church of Christ is it’s people and I am impressed with their dedication. The Sunday weekly announcements alone make me realize how dedicated and busy most of the church members are! They never rest!

Our present interim pastor is wonderful and has kept the focus of the UCC’s mission and God’s Word fresh and new. I give great credit to her and to the hardworking and loyal trustees and committees to keeping and holding the church together in this time of transition.

We have some incredibly dedicated and hardworking individuals who assist with the Sunday services to make it even more meaningful. One of our younger members has included technology into the service. This is challenging since this gorgeous old historic building limits just how much technology can be used. However, this small step has given the church and it’s service a more contemporary feel. Her youthful energy and commitment to God and serving the UCC has also elevated the spirit of the church. Several congregation members have stepped in to serve as a substitute church leaders when our pastor has been called away and they are excellent! We have a few members who have a vested interest in and understanding of this historic landmark of a building and work very hard at keeping it alive and well with all of it’s old aches and pains. You can always count on them to be there when challenges arise. And then of course, there are the cooks. (I already mentioned the scrumptious Thanksgiving dinner!) And anyone would soon discover that this is just a minute sampling of the people who make a difference in this church.

Letter 2: Anne Caton Con’t.

From the church musician point of view, I feel that this church could certainly be positively served by some continuity in its ministry and in the church service format. It is becoming more difficult today for churches to decide on a style of service. Presently the UCC is more traditional in style with the traditional hymns and our very small choir offers some variety by singing relevant choral selections. As the church musician, I have incorporated more stylistic ‘new age’ versions of hymns on the piano to give a little more contemporary feel to the service, however, I still play the church organ for the traditional hymns. These are things to think about in terms of the future of the church.

The bottom line in this is music plays a very big part of the service and is and should be a wonderful way to involve the congregation in worship.

In closing, I am grateful to write this letter of reference on behalf of the Sherburne United Church of Christ. I truly believe it is a place that anyone would be proud and happy to call ‘home’.

Sincerely, Anne M. Caton

To Whom It May Concern:

I was a member of the Sherburne UCC from 1974 until I moved to Pennsylvania in 2015. The church was first of all for me a place to walk my faith journey. The Sunday morning services, the Bible studies, the opportunity to sing in the choir were all part of that journey. In addition there were many opportunities to serve the church and the community.

Sherburne UCC has a strong mission program. Each August, the church provides back packs and school supplies for the children returning to school. As a retired teacher, I know how vitally important it is for each child to start on the first day of each school year ready to learn with the proper tools. Other projects of the Missions Committee are to collect food for the local food pantry, help with the Crop Walk, and work on baby and health kits. I think this outreach is definitive of Sherburne’s congregation.

There is a strong sense of fellowship among the members of the church. People enjoy getting together working on church projects, as well as sharing meals. Even though there are differences of opinion on some issues, there is civility shown toward everyone.

I was especially grateful that I was able to represent the church at the meetings of the Susquehanna Association, the annual meetings of the New York Conference, and once at the National Synod. I met so many interesting people and was introduced to the workings of the greater church. I wish there were more Sherburne members who would attend these meetings and become involved with the association and the conference.

Sherburne UCC is working to do God’s will through their words and actions.
