The Board of Supervisors met at 9:30 a.m. September 4, 2018, with all mem-bers present.Lee Bjerke, County Engineer, met with
the Board to discuss road matters. He also reviewed his study and recommenda-tions for a possible ATV/UTV Ordinance.Moved by Kuhn and seconded by Beard
to approve the grant awards for the Iowa Roadside Vegetation Management pro-gram. Motion carried unanimously.Moved by Ashbacher and seconded by
Kuhn to open the public hearing on the proposed zoning ordinance change re-quested by Russell Novak. Motion car-ried unanimously by roll call vote. Tony Phillips, Planning, Zoning, and Flood Plain Administrator, reviewed the actions by the Planning and Zoning Commission who unanimously recommended approv-al. The Board reviewed the written com-ments received and did not received any additional comments. Moved by Kuhn and seconded by Ashbacher to close the public hearing. Motion carried unan-imously by roll call vote. Moved by Kuhn and seconded by Beard to hold the first reading of the ordinance and waive the additional readings. Motion carried unan-imously and the reading was held. Moved by Kuhn and seconded by Beard to adopt ordinance 19-210, an amendment to the Zoning Ordinance to re-classify the sub-ject property from A-1 to C-1. Motion carried unanimously by roll call vote. The ordinance will be on file in the County Au-ditor’s and Recorder’s office and will be published as required by law.Phillips reviewed the application by Brent
Formanek for a division of a lot within the Woodland Acres Estate First Addition. Moved by Thompson and seconded by
