• 3rd such survey (every 5 years)• Includes Orange, Seminole, Osceola and Brevard counties

• Oversampling in Winter Park, Maitland and Eatonville communities

• Set of health objectives for the nation to achieve in first decade of new century

• 2 major goals– Increase Quality and Years of Healthy Life

– Eliminate Health Disparities
