DESCRIPTION

Proposal modeled after the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor specific for the Tallahassee, FL MSA

TRANSCRIPT

Page 1: Local entrepreneurship monitor

Local Entrepreneurship Monitor (LEM) is a grassroots entrepreneurship research study initiated by FAMU alumnus and Visiting Instructor of Entrepreneurship, LaTanya White. The primary objective of this research effort is to explore and uncover the reasons behind the under-utilization of existing local business resources by minorities and other socially disadvantaged classes. Secondarily, the project aims to increase the likelihood that this market will make more extensive use of these resources.

LEM is not organized to duplicate your existing efforts but rather to penetrate the sphere of influence that your organization may not currently possess with minorities and other socially disadvantaged classes. The program takes a multi-faceted approach that relies on the authentic, value-added relationships that White has developed with local and regional business owners. The program is inspired by the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor, the largest study of entrepreneurial dynamics in the world. LEM anticipates initiating multiple impressions to more than 500 qualified leads annually with following multimodal opportunities beginning October 1, 2013.

Extreme Entrepreneurship Tour- Spreads the entrepreneurial mindset with a high-energy conference
