4-22 Wilson St. HamiltonThis is a joint program of Faith and the Common Good and Environment Hamilton to assist faith communities in taking practical actions towards a more sustainable and energy efficient place of worship and to educate members of the community about ecological issues.

They do a lot of local education and community building projects.

EcoHouse is also known as "Glen Manor" or "the Veevers Estate" after the last owners of the property. At one time Glen Manor farm included a stretch of land from Quigley Road to Greenhill Ave, from King Street to the base of the escarpment.

Dundas in Transition: Think globally, act locally.Part of the Transition Towns Movement (UK)

Dundas in Transition is an all volunteer, non-profit organization focused on facing the challenges of climate change and dependence on fossil fuels. We need to face these challenges through increasing local resilience and self-sufficiency in food, water, energy and other vital aspects of life.
