Welcome to the 2020 Berkshire Grown Guide to Local Food & Farms!
Now more than ever, connections to local food and farms hold our community together. In the Berkshires, we are lucky to have a well-established, supportive network of farmers, chefs, and people who love to eat locally-grown food. Each time you buy directly from a local farmer you eat the freshest, most delicious food and farm
products and you support agriculture as a vital part of the Berkshire community and landscape. Berkshire Grown’s Guide to Local Food and Farms is the region’s best guide to farms, farmers markets, and restaurants offering local foods. Use this Guide to find farm stands, CSA farms, pick-your-own farms and orchards, as well as locally sourced value-added products like charcuterie, preserves, and fermented foods. Within these pages and online at BerkshireGrown.org/Find-Food-and-Farms, you will find descriptions, addresses, and a detailed map. Keep this Guide handy and use it frequently! Supporting local farms and restaurants enriches our whole community. If you are not already a member, I hope you will be inspired to join Berkshire Grown and support our work as advocates for farmers and local food. Thank you for believing in the power of food to cultivate community, nourish our economy, and protect our agricultural land and heritage. Keep Farmers Farming!
