Locating an Image on the Web and Pasting into a

Step 1 – Locate and click on the Blue E to launch Internet Explorer.

Step 2 – Locate a picture of an object you would measure with your desired tool.

You can search for pictures using the Search bar. Type the word of the object you are trying to locate. For example – “wooden door.”

Step 3 – Pick one of the pictures of the object from the pictures that appear on screen.

Step 4 – Right click on the picture you have chosen and select “copy” from the list of options.

Step 5 – Open the Microsoft Word Document “I would measure this with a…”◦1. Click on Microsoft word from the desktop.◦2. Click File and Open. This should be the first

file available to open.

Step 6 – Locate the place within the word document that you would like to place the picture you have located.

Right Click and select Paste.

Step 7 – The picture should now appear in your word document. If the picture is too big, select a corner and resize the picture to a smaller size.
