Location The WVU Soccer Camp for Girls is based on the Evansdale Campus of West Virginia University. Field facilities are located throughout the Evansdale Campus. Additionally, feature sessions will be held at the WVU Soccer Complex located adjacent to the WVU Coliseum, as well as the Caperton Indoor Facility and Milan Puskar Stadium.

SupervisionCampers will be under 24-hour supervision by camp staff. Violations of camp rules will not be tolerated and could result in immediate dismissal from camp without a refund of fees.

Philosophy and ObjectiveThe WVU Soccer Camp for Girls is designed to improve all levels of players’ technical and tactical awareness; girls will be separated into specific groups depending on level of play. Anyone who is interested in learning more about the game of soccer will enjoy this camp experience. Remember, the focus is on soccer and learning the game. Join us and become a student of the world’s most popular sport.

Day Camps June 3-7Mini-Mounty Camp ($105.00) | Time: 9:00am-10:15am | Ages: 3-5Junior-Mounty Camp ($175.00) | Time: 9:00am-11:30am | Ages: 6-12* Check-in will be from 8:30-9:00 a.m. on June 3 at the Dreamswork Field.Camp will introduce soccer to these age groups using innovative and creative teaching strategies. Coaches will teach soccer in a fun and unique way to create a positive environment for first-time and beginning players.

Residential Camp July 13-16 | Ages: 10-18Cost: $575.00 (overnight) / $475.00 (commuter)

Arrival and Departure Same as Team CampThe curriculum for this camp is designed to maximize your potential as a player. Each session will be run by WVU staff and will be geared toward enhancing technical ability, as well as tactical awareness. Morning sessions will emphasize the technical aspects of the game, one-on-one attacking and defending, receiving under pressure and finishing. Afternoon sessions will focus on small and large group tactics of attacking and defending. Evening sessions will consist of matches.

Team Camp July 13-16 | Ages: 10-18 (Register as a team) | Cost: $515.00 (Minimum 11 players on same club/team & registrations must be mailed together)

Arrival and DepartureArrival: Check-in for the start of Overnight camp will be from 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. in the Brooke Tower lobby of the ERC on Saturday, July 13. Commuter check-in will be from 12- 12:30 p.m. at Brooke Tower Lobby (Be prepared to play). (First meal will be dinner). Departure: Check-out for Overnight, Team and Commuter campers is at Noon on July 16 following the closing ceremony in the Blue/Gold Room of the ERC. (Parents are welcome).

**Please Note: Lunch and dinner are provided for residential/team and commuter campers. Schedule is subject to change.

ID Camps May 11 and July 20 | Ages: Eighth Grade - High SchoolCost: $175.00 per session This camp is designed for the student-athlete who wants to pursue her soccer career after high school. The ID Program is one of our most advanced, chal-lenging and competitive training programs we offer. The camp also will cover areas such as NCAA Academic Requirements, Strength and Conditioning program for the advanced player, and How the Recruiting Process Works. Our philosophy is simple. We build a solid technical foundation and then challenge you to perform with limited time and space. At the end of this camp you will be physically and mentally drained., but you will have a clearer picture of your abilities, your purpose and your commitment.

Goalkeeper TrainingThe camp challenges goalkeepers of all levels and abilities with the latest technical and tactical training methodology. All goalkeepers will benefit from a high level of instruction.

Cancellation and RefundsThere will be a $100 cancellation fee, $50 for day camp/$75 for ID Camp, to account for handling, time, etc. All cancellations must be in writing. No cancellation will be taken over the phone. Camper substitutions will not be accepted in return for the $100 deposit. All cancellations will be refunded after September 1. If a camper should have to leave camp early for medical reasons, the refund will amount to a prorate of room and board only. NO REFUNDS will be given to campers who leave camp voluntarily or are removed for disciplinary reasons.

* All camps are open to any and all entrants.** There is a camp store open during lunch, breaks and evenings that sells WVU apparel, drinks, candy and snacks.
