Welcome to the Digital Hospital of the Future, Australia 2015 Maximizing Digital Technology to Create Exceptional Patient Experience

and Improve Healthcare Efficiency 25 - 27 NOVEMBER 2015 | INTERCONTINENTAL SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA

This inaugural conference will address how the Hospital of the Future can maximize digital technology to create exceptional patient experience and improve healthcare efficiency. We are entering an era where we can say without hesitation that patient experience matters. Digital hospitals are in a better position to focus and deliver world class patient-centric care because of greater staff productivity and efficiency in healthcare provision.

Technology has long been a valued resource in healthcare, but adoption has been slower than in other industries. If there is one industry experiencing rapid change right now, it is healthcare. Whether it is the shift from paper to electronic records, face-to-face consultation to telehealth diagnosis, or instructing patients to empowering them, the industry is evolving fast.

Healthcare consumers, providers and payers are embracing the transformational power of technology, as it has become a must-have tool for transforming patient engagement, enabling personalized medicine, augmenting labor and paying off in unprecedented effectiveness across the care ecosystem. Where hospitals are concerned, the concept of ‘digital hospital’ has started to gain traction amongst healthcare facilities providers, as these organizations begin to recognize the benefits of process digitalization for greater productivity, efficiency and organization.

If we consider the accelerating rate of change in healthcare, the challenges may seem overwhelming, but the future looks bright. We have carefully crafted the agenda to help you avoid the pitfalls, better tackle the challenges and have leading experts share with you their road map to success.

Be in the midst of the healthcare IT leaders of today, who are doing more than just talking a good digital game. They are fundamentally changing the way technology is used for care delivery. The digital hospital is as much a way of thinking about the future of healthcare as it is about technology.

Hear from government officials on the digital hospital landscape in their respective states, discover emerging trends in the industry and learn about new technological solutions to stay relevant in the years to come.Mark those dates, book your seat now and be part of the Changing Face of Healthcare in Australia!

Warmest Regards,

Lucas GuoConference Director

Design Thinking Workshop: Supporting the Integrated Care Process, 9:00am - 12:00pm

This half-day workshop will be an immersion into the Design Thinking process and will demonstrate how this process can be used to uncover innovative ideas and ways to solve mundane and seemingly stuck problems that impact healthcare delivery from a quality and efficiency perspective. Calvary SilverLining case study will be used as a starting point. The workshop will be divided into three segments and participants will be in small working groups to work through a range of solutions, find the best few and then best option to solve the challenges.

Three Main Segments• Calvary SilverLining case study will be used to set context, to capture key observations that relate to workflow and environment and to

extract and define core needs from the insights.• Rapid, high-level solution development: Groups will be asked to storyboard how the solutions will be implemented and to add priority to
