LOCK BOLT fasteners are superior vibration resistance and durable. These fasteners/Bolting systems are engineered to be installed without torquing utilizing Hydraulic Impact Technology.

The entire Process is explained in these 4 steps:

A bolt is inserted into the prepared hole and the smooth bore collar is placed on the bolt.The installation tool placed on to the bolt tail. When the tool is activated, the jaw in the nose assembly pull on the bolt tail and the nose anvil pushes on the collar to remove any gap.The nose anvil starts to swage the collar into the lock grooves on the bolt. Continued swaging causes the collar to lengthen and forms clamp.When swaging of the collar into the lock grooves is complete, the bolt tail splits from the bolt which completes the installation cycle.

2Hydraulic Power pack unit 3 HP / 3 PH Working Pressure of Up to 700 Kg/cm 2(Pull Pressure) & up to 280 Kg/cm (Return Pressure).

Installation tools & Nose assembly (Integrated type or separate) for bolt sizes of

3/8”, ½”, 5/8”, ¾”, 7/8”, 1”, 1-1/8” & 1-3/8” along with the corresponding Collars.

Collar Cutters : For 1” & 1-3/8” fasteners

Hoses to deliver the high pressure from the Power pack to installation Tools and

other accessories like pressure gauges, quick release couplings, electrical

spares etc.

Upto 7/8” Tools are used in the manufacturing of railway Wagons & Mining Equipments

& 1” & above are used in LOCO workshops of Railways.
