Packaging Design Always thoroughly check the pdf artwork prior to approval
Courier charges apply if change after pdf stage
Always check the hard copy artwork prior to approval
It is good practice to have an independent check
Once approved, any change is charged to the Distributor

No new contract packing in market – all to be done via LoF

Distributor orders via Impex
Impex IMMEDIATELY send the order to LoF (IBS)
LoF Check 1 - Payment / Transport ?
Check 2 - Have we a valid PI for all items?
Check 3 - Have we the packaging for all items?
Check 4 - Have we production capacity in time frame?
Arrange the best delivery date and INFORM DISTRIBUTOR.
Negotiate an agreed date - if necessary amend the order.
Speeding up an Order
Better forecasting.
Plan well ahead with new or changed items.
Ensure PI are in place prior to the order.
Parent/Child orders will remove the minimum quantities.
Approve artwork as soon as possible.

• IBS will allow managers more time to manage.• One area that is under resourced is “time” for NPD.• We have a long term plan / vision.• We also have short term activities.• Both need managing.• LoF & Impex “meet” weekly to progress all projects
(Friday morning “Skype” meetings).
