SANDY CLAY: dark brown, dry, low plasticity, with silt, trace of gravel. 87% Recovery in sample 1.
CLAY: brown homogenous, firm to dense, high plasticity, slightly moist.
Fine to coarse SAND with some gravel and silt, dark grey, dense, moist, fines are low plasticity, approximate depth to water 6.8 ft. 56% Recovery in sample 2.
CLAYEY GRAVEL: moderately moist, medium plasticity
SAND:Poorly Graded, grey-brown, wet with some gravel, loose, little or no fines. 68% Recovery in sample 3.
