Legacy Lawsuits – Passage of ACT 312: In 2005, LOGA passed ACT 312 through the Louisiana Legislature as the fi rst step towards helping Louisiana’s oil and gas companies successfully fi ght back against one of their biggest obstacles, Legacy Lawsuits.

Oysters – Created the Oyster Lease Damage Evaluation Board: Th e creation of the Oyster Lease Damage Evaluation Board (OLDEB) has brought fair compensation for the Oyster Fisherman and E&P companies alike, while reducing the challenges faced by South Louisiana drilling operations.
