Export Athletics and Recreation Catalog into Microsoft Word Logging In1. In your web browser of choice, navigate to: sait.acalogadmin.com

2. Login using your credentials

Begin ExportBefore you can export a catalog, you must create a Print Styleset and Export Map for your catalog data.

1. In the left navigation panel, click Export

a. From the drop down menu, choose the catalog you want to exportb. Click Go

NOTE: After completing these steps, you should see Catalogue changed successfully underneath the drop down menu.

2. Click on Catalog Export page on the top row

Add a Print StylesetPrint stylesets are used to manage the font of the catalog text you will be exporting

1. Click on Print Styles tab at the top of the Catalog Export page2. Click the Add a new print styleset link

3. Type in desired styleset Name4. Edit the document header styles, fonts, sizes in the Print Styles table to suit your preferences.

Generally these do not need to be changed unless there is a clear reason.5. Click SaveNOTE: After completing these steps you should see Print styleset saved successfully at the top of the page.

Add an Export MapExport maps are used to organize and sort a catalog’s information in the export file.

1. Click on Export Maps tab at the top of the Catalog Export page2. Click the Add a new export map link

3. Type in desired Export Map Name4. Click Save

NOTE: After completing these steps you should see Successfully saved export map at the top of the page. (Refer to screenshot on Page 5)There may be cases where you do not wish to export the entire contents of the catalog.

a) To exclude some of this information: Click on the bar to change it to red. Items in red are excluded from the export (Refer to screenshot on Page 5)

b) To rearrange the catalog export headings: Dragging the bars up and down in the list. (Refer to Page 5)

c) Click Save Ordering when done (Refer to screenshot on Page 5)

NOTE: After clicking Save Ordering you should see Successfully saved export map ordering at the top of the page.

Complete Export1. Click on Queue tab at the top of the Catalog Export page2. Select the Document Type, Export Styleset (that you created), Export Map (that you

created), and choose Options (will affect the document information).a. Hide item types – used in filtered pages to organize content: program type, degree

type, and course type along with their descriptions, if applicable.b. Expand courses in filter links – This option will show all course details (i.e., course

descriptive content) when displayed within a filter.c. Expand courses in programs – This option will show all course details when

displayed within a program core. (Considering that the same courses can often appear within a multitude of programs, choosing this option will result in repeated course descriptions, as well as a very lengthy document).

d. Include active-hidden programse. Remove all styles not defined by the print styleset – This option will remove all

styles within the export that are not defined in the styleset selected.3. Click Add to Export QueueNOTE: After following these steps you should see Export queue successfully updated at the top of the page.

NOTE: Your export queue can be found in the Export Pickup table at the bottom of the page. You will receive an e-mail with a link informing you when the export is completed.
