Research focused on the development of the advanced scientific and technological basis
In 2014-2020: Aims to support up to 2000 projects with projects duration up to 3 years (long-term projects – up to 5 years). Project funding: up to 0,45 mln. Euro per project/per year. Required co-funding - not less than 10%.
Applied research for creation of the advanced scientific and technological basement for economic development

The Joint Institute for Nuclear Research (JINR) is an international intergovernmental scientific research organisation established in 1956
It is situated in Dubna not far from Moscow in the Russian Federation

Mega-science projects are not only about the prestige of a nation They help focus resources on priority areas, and to make
breakthroughs first in fundamental science and then in technology Through implementation of such mega science projects, Russia
can deal with the most crucial staffing problem and fight the brain drain
Russia will get six major research installations in the near-distant future selected from 28 applications
Each of six projects suggested for realization in Russia will need over 1.5 bullion rubles of government funding and will be completed in 10 years or less

BILAT-RUS
BILAT-RUS focuses on enhancing the bilateral S&T Partnership between Russia and the EU Member States, Candidate Countries and other Associated Countries.
The project aims at contributing to the sustainable implementation of the Common Space on Research, Education and Culture between the EU and Russia and at further strengthening the participation of Russia in Community programmes – most prominently the FP7.
Strategy: Improving the process of providing information on programs and funding
designed to promote cooperation between Europe and specific third countries;
Better identifying and demonstrating mutual interest and benefit in S&T cooperation;
Sharing best practices via joint fora and presenting the state-of-the-art and the prospects for cooperation in particular fields.
