RESPONSIBILITIES AS DIRECTOR, NAIROBI CAMPUS

The Director operates under the direction of the Vice Chancellor of Moi University to oversee

academic and administrative activities in the Campus. The Office is specifically charged with

Academic Affairs which include:

1. Working with and through Co-ordinators of Schools to ensure that teaching is carried out

effectively while liaising with the respective academic offices at the Main Campus.

2. Liaising with the Co-ordinators of Schools and the Time-tabling Committee to ensure

availability of teaching space for all programs in the campus

3. Facilitating students transferred to the Campus to settle quickly for learning.

4. Ensuring that University examinations are carried out within the stipulated Senate Rules and

Regulations and in conformity with ISO requirements.

5. Liaising with the Academic and Students Affairs offices to facilitate disciplinary of students

of the Campus.

6. Working with the Student Affairs section to ensure the welfare and extra-curricular

activities of students at the campus

7. Working with the Library and the ICT sections to ensure that students access both electronic

and text reading materials together with internet facilities.

8. Managing all administrative functions in the Campus

9. Any other duties as directed by the by the Vice Chancellor from time to time.
