The transition from land banking to development has
arrived with the announcement of several major hotels
scheduled to break ground soon.
The Mandalika Resort, a fully integrated 1000 hectare
resort supported by the Indonesian Government, has
finally broken ground in the south of Lombok near Kuta.
An 18 hole resort golf course is under development as
the first project.

According to expert consultants, Lombok is at the beginning (year 2-3) of a typical
15 year growth cycle that is common in island holiday destinations. Raw land values
continue to increase at approximately 30% per annum. With the Government’s ongoing

Santi holds a Bachelors degree in Accounting from IIU. She has experience
