LVDC OCTOBER 2016 NEWSLETTER
Thank you Mary Lou & Karl Seelandt for hosting and providing grilled chicken for the Lompoc Valley Distance Club Quarterly Potluck at your home on 11 Septem-ber! LVDC members filled the counters and tables with delicious homemade salads and desserts. Plus a short club meeting reviewed the next 3-month upcoming LVDC events and voted to stage the next annual Half-Marathon in September of 2017. Remember the 1
st time you
completed a 10K? LVDC member Irish Clark-Savage
done it at the 18 September Parks & Recreation Fun Run at Beattie Park. Will a 1
st Half-Marathon be
Irish’s next challenge? Lastly, it time to nominate LVDC members to serve on the club’s board for 2017. Anyone interested in leading or assisting as a board member to continue our club goals and events? If so – let me know by 15 Oct!
Happy Trails! Wayne Davis #:^)
