Michael Fred Phelps II (born June 30, 1985) is a retired American swimmer and the most decorated Olympian of all time with 22 medals. Phelps also holds the all-time records for Olympic gold medals (18, double that of the next highest record holders), Olympic gold medals in individual events, and Olympic medals in individual events for a male. In winning eight gold medals at the 2008 Beijing Games, Phelps took the record for the most first-place finishes at any single Olympic Games. Five of those victories were in individual events, tying the single Games record.

Usain St. Leo Bolt, born 21 August 1986), is a Jamaican sprinter widely regarded as the fastest person ever.He is the first man to hold both the 100 metres and 200 metres world records since the start of fully automatic time measurements. Along with his teammates, he also set the world record in the 4×100 metres relay. He is the reigning Olympic champion in these three events, the first man ever to win 6 Olympic gold medals in sprinting, and a five-time World champion.

Kathleen Genevieve Ledecky (born March 17, 1997) is an American swimmer who specializes in freestyle events and is an Olympic gold medalist. In her Olympic debut at the 2012 Summer Olympics as a 15-year old, Ledecky won the gold in the 800-meter freestyle with the second-fastest swim of all time. She is the current American record holder in the 800-meter freestyle.

Aída Nabila Román Arroyo (born May 21, 1988 in Mexico City) is an athlete from Mexico who competes in archery.

Iván Alejandro García Navarro (born 25 October 1993 in Guadalajara) is a Mexican diver. He is nicknamed "Pollo" ("Chicken").

He won two gold medals in the 2011 Pan-American Games. At the 2012 Summer Olympics in London García won the silver medal in the synchronized 10 metre platform diving, with his partner Germán Sánchez.

The Olympic Park covers 500 acres in East London -that’s about the size of Alton Towers! During the Games, it will only take seven minutes to get there from the centre of London by a special train. The Olympic Park will contain the main Stadium, Aquatics Centre, and smaller stadia like the Hockey Centre and the Velopark for Cycling. The Athletes Village, where the athletes will stay during the Games, will also be in the Park.

First medals for Mexico

Mexican divers German Sanchez and Ivan Garcia won silver medal in synchronized diving specialty in the 10m platform.With their fourth dive, with difficulty 4.1, Sánchez and García could get on the podium after relocating to the fifth and eighth.
