"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the broken hearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18,19 Unionite, we are living in very troubling times. I pray you are staying connected to Christ and His community, your Union family. It is essential that we, the church, be everything that God calls us to be. Relying on Him for everything that we need. God is taking care of you and I. Jesus is clear on His purpose. He was sent to heal, deliver, recover and set humanity free. A compassionate call to those who are oppressed, misused, abused, and overlooked. A ministry to the hurting, lost and forgotten. God is love and expressed He His love through His Son, Jesus. God so loved you that He sent His only begotten Son that, whosoever believeth in Him, shall not perish but have everlasting life. (John 3:16). Jesus is calling you and I to this same ministry. To minister to the hurting, lost and forgotten. To reach up and out to the oppressed, misused, abused, and overlooked. To walk by faith and be filled up with The Holy Spirit and serve the Lord, His way! He is The Way, The Truth and The Life! Church let’s rise up and stand up for RIGHTEOUSNESS! STAY CONNECTED WITH EVERY VIRTUAL OPPORTUNITY TO WORSHIP AND GROW IN THE WORD TOGETHER! STAY CONNECTED TO JESUS! THINK BIG with 2020 vision! Sunday School Classes and Youth Church is Suspended during this health crises! CHRISTIAN EDUCATION CONFERENCE CALL CLASSES! SUNDAY NIGHT LADIES CLASS WITH SISTER WIGGINS AT 7 PM MONDAY NIGHT FAITH MEN’S CLASS AT 7 PM “But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” (2 Corinthians 9:6). Today we must unite in lovingly obedience to God’s Word and the care of the ministry the Lord has given us. We must seize today in faith and give abundantly our tithes and offering, together in love. The stewardship God has called us unto requires our very best for the GREATEST! God is and shall take care of you and I! Malachi 3:8,12. Power Hour is being live streamed on Facebook. It will be posted on YouTube as well! Unless we have additional change, Pastor will be at the church house at 7 pm on Wednesday praying and encouraging in the Word of God. Substance Abuse meeting every Thursday at 7 pm. Please share with a love one this critical ministry being offered at Union! At this time all special activities, in-person classes and services are suspended for the month of May. Let us continue to stay connected utilizing social media, phone calls, and mailings. Wednesday 7 pm Power Hour and Sunday 11 am Virtual Service will continue to advance the Kingdom. Continue your faithful, fruitful giving through Givelify, mail-ins and drop-offs.
