F.7(49) Jaipur/DME/Acad/2014/1297 dated 08.03.2018 and to convey the approval of the Central Government for increase in seats in the following Post Graduate course(s) with intake of students mentioned against each below with prospective effect i.e. from the academic year 2018-19 at Rabindranath Tagore Medical College, Udaipur.

Increase:

I. MS (Ophthalmology) :03 (Three) to 04 (Four) seats

The College/Institute shall fulfill the minimum required facilities like infrastructure, beds, faculty etc at the time of assessment failure which the Central Government may withdraw the above permission.

This permission for increase in seats in the above courses and admission of students will be till such time the first batch of students admitted against the above course (s) appears for the first final examination in the subject unless the permission is withdrawn earlier. The College authorities may take up the matter for recognition of the qualifications under Section 1 I (2) of IMC Act at the time of first batch admitted against the course appears for final year examinations.

It shall be ensured by the States & UTs/Medical Colleges/Institutes concerned that

I am directed to refer to MCI's letter No. MC1-23(1)/2017-Med./176506 dated 01.03.2018 recommending increase in seats in PG (Broad Specialty) courses in Clinical Subjects of Government Medical Colleges/ PG Institutes for the academic year 2018-19 in the light of revision in Teacher Student Ratio & the Undertaking given by the Commissioner Secretary of your State/UT vide letter no. HLB.132/2018/03 dated 08.03.2018 and to convey the approval of the Central Government for increase in seats in the following Post Graduate course(s) with intake of students mentioned against each below with prospective effect i.e. from the academic year 2018-19 at Assam Medical College, Dibrugarh.

Increase:

I. MD (Anaesthesiology) :09 (Nine) to 16 (Sixteen) seats MD (Psychiatry) :04 (Four) to 06 (Six) seats

The College/Institute shall fulfill the minimum required facilities like infrastructure, beds, faculty etc at the time of assessment failure which the Central Government may withdraw the above permission.

This permission for increase in seats in the above courses and admission of students will be till such time the first batch of students admitted against the above course (s) appears for the first final examination in the subject unless the permission is withdrawn earlier. The College authorities may take up the matter for recognition of the qualifications under Section 11(2) of IMC Act at the time of first batch admitted against the course appears for final year examinations.

It shall be ensured by the States & UTs/Medical Colleges/Institutes concerned that:

Adequate funds are provided in Budget regularly till all facilities are provided.

50% Seats are contributed to All India Quota (Except the Colleges in Jammu & Kashmir).
