Mark E. Grant Department of the Army Civilian GS13 Deputy Officer in Charge, Logistics Task Force North APO, AE 09368 Home of Record: 157 Taylor Rd. Natchitoches, LA 71457 (318) 22-8305 November 13, 2013 Dear Prospective Employer, I am writing to recommend Mr. Cristobal Flores for any position he applies for in your company or corporation. I knew Cris for fifteen months and during that time, we worked together on a near daily basis, so I fully understand his capabilities. I had both the honor and the pleasure of working directly with Cris during his time as Master Supply Technician at the Camp Pratt, Mazar-e-Sharif, Afghanistan, Logistics Task Force North, Retrograde and Redistribution Property Assistance Team (RPAT) Facility. I can certainly say that his tremendous abilities never ceased to amaze me. If Cris Flores applies for a position with your firm, hire him. Cris’ incredible adaptability with an ever evolving retrograde mission was instrumental in our day to day success in the retrograde of high dollar value military equipment back to the United States. Cris led his team to having the highest customer (supported unit) turn-in success rate; he established a turn-in appointment schedule for unit’s turn-in equipment which eliminated back log and customer wait time. You may think booking appointments is ordinary but it’s normally not done in this capacity in the turn-in process. The implementation of common sense procedures set Cris apart from other Master Supply Technicians in other retrograde turn in yards. Cris Flores is dynamic and out-going with potential supported units which have let him excel in as a Master Supply Technician. He took the time to sit down with our supported units and demonstrated what was required and what right looked like; customer mistakes were corrected on the spot whenever possible leading to reduced time for customers at the retrograde turn in yard. His uncanny ability to know what the client needed before they tell him makes customers or supported units feel comfortable with him. His flexibility also allows him to quickly switch tactics if the customer changes their mind about something at the last minute. While at the RPAT yard, Cris managed a multiplicity of unique equipment turn-ins for units who had been on behind the power curve on vetting equipment for turn-in. He made equipment turn-in processes a seamless, fluid process for the units and what could have taken weeks to do only took days and in some cases hours to accomplish under Cris’ leadership, mentorship and guidance. Cris is also able to work effectively with other co-workers, making him a great addition to our team and any team. He is a gifted, he can brief at any level making the complex seem very simple and understandable. I have no doubt that Cris Flores will be a valued member of your team in no time at all. With his abilities, adaptability, and dedication, Cris will make a great Manager for any company. I have no doubts you will be exceptionally pleased if you hire him. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me at the above address. Sincerely, Mark E. Grant

November 13, 2013 Dear Prospective Employer, I am writing to recommend Mr.

Cris’ incredible adaptability with an ever evolving retrograde mission was instrumental in

our day to day success in the retrograde of high dollar value military equipment back to the United States.

Cris is also able to work effectively with other co-workers, making him a great addition

to our team and any team. Grant
