Attend West End’s Black History Month Program – Sunday, Feb. 26 following 10:45 a.m. service. The event is a collaboration between Youth in Action and WE Rise Young Adults. Heavy hor’dourves and beverages will be served after the program.

The next United Marriage Class will begin Feb. 6. Register today at www.marriagesmadestronger.com. This is a class for married and engaged couples and is a powerful and innovative approach to marriage utilizing a Christian perspective. Cost of the class is $100 per couple. The Mustard Seeds is a new training and development program created to introduce our future church leaders – boys ages 6 to 12 – to meaningful service and church work in the Lord’s Kingdom. Each Wednesday after bible study, the Mustard Seeds will make

sure there are general collection envelopes and WE Sow Sunday™ envelopes in the pews. Additional responsibilities will be provided to them as the program grows. Be sure to encourage our young leaders when you see them and if you know of other young boys who may be interested in becoming a Mustard Seed, please see David Bishop.

3rd National Lectureship Rally to be held at the Camp Creek Church of Christ, Sunday, February 19th at 3:30pm with the pre-rally concert beginning at 3pm with Highly Favored of West End and the National Lectureship Mass Chorus. This rally is designed to provide information regarding the purpose of the lectureship, the plan for 2017 National Lectureship, and oppor-tunities to work on the auxiliary committees. We certainly would love to have you and your congregation intricately involved with the execution of this project. WE WILL ALSO HAVE A YOUTH RALLY THAT DAY AS WELL AT THE CREEK in the multi-pur-pose area featuring some exciting activities including a Youth Song group from the Southside Church of Christ in Rogersville, AL. The young people also will be encouraged to meet new faces and develop new friendships at the post rally pizza social.
