Description:
This project expanded the existing commuter parking lot east of the existing Lorton VRE Station located at 8990 Lorton Station Blvd, Lorton VA just south of Interstate 95. The expansion adds 150 parking spaces. Work included clearing and grading, installation of stormwater pipe and structures, concrete curb and gutter, sidewalks, asphalt travel ways and parking spaces, landscaping, signage, paving markings and site lighting. This project was Completed on Budget and ahead of Schedule.
Substantial Completion Date: October 26, 2016Total Project Budget: $1.5 Million
