GET IT GOING: Following Clayton Kershaw’s stellar

performance last night, the Dodgers evened the series 1-1 in their

four-game set at AT&T Park with a 2-1 victory over the Giants.

Los Angeles snapped their six-game losing streak in the Bay

Area, which was its longest losing streak in San Francisco since

April 21-September 2, 2015, when the club dropped seven

straight games. Following the four-game series at AT&T Park,

the Dodgers will return home for a six-game homestand against

the Philadelphia Phillies and the San Francisco Giants.

Los Angeles looks to win its second consecutive game at

AT&T Park, which would be the first time the club has

won two straight in San Francisco since September 13-

14, 2014.

The Dodgers also snapped their four-game losing streak

to the Giants, which was the longest losing streak since

losing five in-a-row on May 19-June 20, 2015.

The Blue Crew lost the 2016 season series 8-11 against

the Giants, including a 2-8 mark at AT&T Park for their

four runs, four doubles, four RBI and four hit by pitches, along

with a .449 OBP and a .452 SLG during the run which started on

rank among the senior circuit in opponents’ batting average (.209,

3rd), WHIP (1.16, 4th) and strikeouts (79, 2nd), while posting a 3.16

strikeout-to-walk ratio, which ranks third in the NL and also has

allowed just one home run.

Dodger closer Kenley Jansen collected his fifth save of

the season with a four-out save in last night’s contest, his

third four-out save of the year. It was Jansen’s 16th career

four-plus out save of his career, which ranks fifth among

active big league relievers and has the most four-plus out

saves in the Majors since 2016 with eight.

Since returning from the disabled list on April 14, Pedro

Báez has tossed 7.0 scoreless innings of relief in six

appearances and has allowed just one hit (1-for-22, .045)

a career-high 18.2 scoreless innings in 17 games, limiting

hitters just a .127 (8-for-63) average with 23 strikeouts

against seven walks during that span.

Dodger southpaw Grant Dayton made his first rehab

appearance last night with Single-A Rancho Cucamonga,

striking out the side on 13 pitches in the first inning.

Dayton was placed on the 10-day disabled list on April

18 with an intercostal strain.
