The museum features a collection of the Buff family’s personal items, as well as 18th century furniture.A visit to the Jerusalem House completes your tour of the traces of Goethe in Wetzlar. Here, you can see the rooms where Karl Wilhelm Jerusalem lived. In his first novel The Sorrows of Young Werther, Goethe combined Jerusalem’s tragic story with his own experiences in Wetzlar and his ill-fated love for Charlotte Buff.
