The Golf Club at Stonebridge SPONSORED IN PART BY

LOUISIANA INDEPENDENT

PHARMACIES ASSOCIATION

The Golf Club at Stonebridge offers an elegant and exclusive club

environment where anyone can play. Located in the Stonebridge

development in North Bossier City, the golf club features a challenging and

beautifully maintained 18-hole championship golf course, designed by PGA

Tour professional Fred Couples and award-winning architect Gene Bates. It

winds through a natural setting of mature oaks, small lakes, and protected

wetlands.

The golf course has five sets of tees to

provide a fun and exciting layout for

golfers of all levels. From the “gold” or

championship tees it stretches to almost

7,000 yards in length. The great variety

of shot values, and the scenery make

this a golf experience that members and

“Us Up North” Culinary Experience

Guests will spend time with Chef Hardette Harris discussing the pride of

North Louisiana cuisine. Chef Harris will demonstrate how to cook items

from the second only official meal in the United States. Guests will be

able to participate in hands on instruction on cooking hot water cornbread

and then enjoy a lunch of fried catfish and all the fixings.

North Louisiana is the home of only the second official meal in the United

States and Chef Harris wrote it. Along with help from State

Representative Gene Reynolds, House Concurrent Resolution HCR No. 88

was passed by the Louisiana Legislature in 2015.

Chef Harris is originally from Minden, Louisiana and was recently named

as one of “Louisiana Life” magazine’s ‘Louisianans of the Year for 2017.”

The cost of this program is $40 and may be paid with the registration fees.

Guests must pre-register; a minimum of 15 registrants are required.
