Conclusion of the master thesis study���
Living Lab methodology seems to speed up the learning processes between developers and users when developing technology for elderly care. However, uIlizing this potenIal
requires a lot of work.

The Living Lab project took place in years 2006-‐2010 Pilot started in a long term ward with 13 residents and 11 caretakers in 2006 In 2008 the use of the system broadened to two long term wards and one short term ward with around 60 residents and 54 caretakers altogether Very loose project plan: goal to develope new care pracIces simultaneously with the technology

”Intoo on ollu tähän näin isolla osalla, muma sime se, emä ensimmäisiä kommenmeja oli se, emä mielummin saisi käsipareja, ku tämmöstä tekniikkaa. Osallahan se näky sillä tavalla, emä niiden oli vaikeampi omaa käymöön sitä systeemiä.
